That is equivlent to 7kgs DW. That brings total to about 40 euro or about 12c/kg so for it to be worth anything you need 15c/kg to be making a few bob out of it.

Some lads that moved away, then went back to their local this spring really got fcukede around, cattle in the evening before and then not killed until about 4pm the following day. How much weight were they down?

Rang factory early yesterday afternoon was offered €3 flat for them unseen. We were only being offered 3.10 to 3.30 for underage bull during the week so seemed reasonable. Second agent rang oul boy this morning. He spotted the two bulls in factory lairage and was offering 30 cent more if he could take them out of the lairage and bring them 'up the country". How he planned to achieve this is beyond me but for cattle that no one wanted a few days ago. .... I left my phone in the yard when I went with the two bulls and there were a half dozen missed calls from first agent when I got back. I haven't rung him back yet but it would be surprising if he wants to chat about the weather. I don't know whether to I'm pleased or annoyed tbh. We got a lot more than we thought they would leave on Tuesday but there was more to be got. If overage ho, and I mean ho, bulls in small numbers are in that sort of demand then those of ye with good stock in any numbers should start any conversation with any factory buyer by telling him to fcuk off until he had at least another 50 cent flat. The worm has turned lads and we need to push the price back up as hard as they pushed down.
