A truce? All they want is basic humanitarian rights. What they want is the lifting of the siege on Gaza? Why wont Israel allow that tell me? Until the siege is lifted they will continue to fire rockets like any people would do when being deprived of everything. All the Israelis keep saying is they have a right to defend itself. Surely then Palestinians have a right to live a normal life? Do you not agree or do like killing them like dogs? Does that make you happy?

Hamas didn't fire any rockets for 18 months. Even when Hamas were on total ceasefire, Gaza remained blockaded. Settlement expansion continued in the West Bank which also remained under occupation.

when israel isnt firing rockets it is bulldozing palestinian homes. if i was in the position of a race being eradicated by a super power, im not sure i wouldnt be firing missiles back.

Israel started this round of assaults. Hamas have said they will agree to a ceasefire if Israel will negotiate with them, but Israel refuse to do this.

And then Israel goes back to oppressing the Palestinian people, FFS they can't even get their sick kids to hospitals because the Israeli's don't let them leave, why wouldn't they start firing ****ing missiles? Because the Israeli genocide of the Palestinian people must go on. The only defense they have is they fire rockets. This is genocide and Israel must be held accountable for war crimes.

I still stand by my words - tell me who your friends are, and I'll tell you who are.
Some truths don't change with time my friend, and some people here on boards need to take a good look at themselves and at what they support and why.

I would be the first to always make the distinction between Hamas and the Palestinians when applicable, and my heart goes to the suffering Palestinians - in particular all the innocent children.

But at the end of the day - the Palestinians made a choice between Hamas and Fatah.
One was corrupt but headed for peace, and the other was corrupt and promised Jihad.
The Palestinians democratically (right?) elected Hamas, and they still support it and its Jihadist targets. They are responsible for Hamas as much as Hamas is responsible for them.

I completely understand that Israel has to defend its own citizens first and only then think about enemy citizens.
I see that the Israelis are doing the best they can not to hurt civilians - more than any other army in the world.
I know that war is chaos and I'm amazed at how the Israelis manage to avoid killing so many more civilians given the conditions on the ground.

It makes me very sad that anyone is killed in Gaza or Israel, or anywhere else for that matter. That's why I suggest Hamas agree to a truce ASAP to prevent further loss of life. I'd also suggest Israel offer further opportunities for a face-saving ceasefire by stopping attacks to see if Hamas will stop launching rockets.

The fact that you think I would like "killing people like dogs" says way more about you than me.
