So,the isralies had some of their citizens murdered and as usual have to kill 10-20 palestinians for every 1 israelie they lost.Scores of innocents will be murdered including a few littel girls already killed and Garth brooks gets teh headline of each newspaper.

America kills more of its own citizens in a year than Al- queda ever did. Which makes about as much sense as your point.

And yes there have been very few Israeli casualties per Palestinian but that is only because Israel are a massively advanced military nation out of complete necessity for there own survival and by contrast Hamas are woefully equipped to take on such a force. Hamas know it is suicide to take on the Israelis but yet they keep at it because they know the more dead children they can show on TV, the more international support they will garner, a point proven by people like you.

When did support from the likes of me do Hamas or the people of Palestine any good? Very foolish to believe that showing dead children on TV will free Palestine and I don't believe that to be their strategy at all. It hasn't worked previously has it? Wise up.

That's their strategy, doesn't necessarily mean that it's smart, but neither was rejecting the ceasefire or continuing to fire rockets during the humanitarian ceasefire. Hamas aren't very smart in general, but they've got some great PR.

But the sad reality is that for as long as I've walked this planet people far away have been killing each other, Vietnam, Cambodia, Shining Path, Hutu's Tutsi's, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Chechnya....and so on and so forth. It's not that I don't care but I've plenty of other things to worry about and spend energy on so I'm just going to carry on with my life and try to make things better for me and mine. If you think that makes me a bad person......then so be it, I'm pretty sure I can live with that.

If by 'defence' you mean of a scenario where they had the capability to stop the Israeli bombings or to protect their people, sure. They certainly would the right to defend themselves.

I don't consider firing indiscriminate rockets at the civilian population of Israel "self defence" though.

According to international law (and even the US acknowledges this), the settlements are illegal colonies. The annexation of Golan and Arab East Jerusalem have been declared null and void. I'd suggest facing reality.

Here's another reality: you talking about the old borders means nothing, they aren't coming back. Israel is not going away. Get on with it and like most sane people, try to argue towards a solution that will lead us to a peaceful co-existence of two states.

You seem confused. I've never advocated the removal of the Israeli state.

Yet firing missiles that are accurate to within a few metres at kids on a beach is? You may consider it indiscriminate, I consider it desperate and ill-guided, but understandable considering the suffering Palestinian people have endured.
