So,the isralies had some of their citizens murdered and as usual have to kill 10-20 palestinians for every 1 israelie they lost.Scores of innocents will be murdered including a few littel girls already killed and Garth brooks gets teh headline of each newspaper.

Walking through town saturday evening, I happened to walk past one of those palestine solidiarity support groups, where they had a petition and a stall asking people to sign their petition to expell the israili ambassador, I politely declined and kept walking, my view of it is its a conflict outside Ireland that has nothing to do with Irish domestic affairs where I take neither side, if you re gonna campaign about something, campaign about homelessness/rising rent prices/water charges, campaign about something that is an issue for people here.

Many of the people involved in those groups are socially aware and do campaign for those less fortunate then ourselves here in Ireland.

Well if you re working full time or in college full time, you won,t have time to help out in numerous campaigns, going to meetings/campaigning etc, you only can give and volenteer so much of your time, where you have to and prioritise whats more worth and deserving volenteering your time to, for me domestic issues are more important then external issues.

Sometimes a legitimate authority needs to restore order so they order a curfew and restricts everyone to their homes to allow the police/defence forces to operate without harming civilians

In Gaza, If sky's reports are accurate (and that's a big 'if') the Israelis order the Palestinians to leave their homes and take to the streets, one presumes this is in order to maximise the number of civilian casualties

Those who remain at home and get killed are to blame for not following the orders to leave their homes.

Those who are on the streets and get killed are killed because 'Hamas was hiding amongst them'
