Neil Prendeville has addressed an issue which emerged with magician and mentalist Keith Barry off air on Friday morning. He began by telling his listening audience that his show was contacted by Keith Barry’s management a number of weeks ago to come on the show, Neil agreed and they discussed the format the interview would take on air. Neil says at no stage was it mentioned that he would be doing the same format, on the same morning on 96FM and had he known that he would have urged Keith to pick one radio station on that morning and re-schedule the other for another day. His PR firm was contacted and his appearance was cancelled. On foot of that Keith arrived at the studios here at RedFM and demanded to be taken on air. After leaving the studios Keith took to Twitter and Facebook and slated Neil’s actions and encouraged other artists to boycott his show.
