identify floating rock please

    hi i was wondering if anyone could help me with the identification of this rock. we live by the sea and these wash up from time to time. it floats aswell if this helps it looks a little glass like under a scope

    Pumice or Scoria

    Volcanic rock composed mostly of air spaces.

    id believe scoria its too dark for pumice thanks for the identification it washes up here from time to time and we have often wondered what it is
