Incident at Windy Arbours, Dublin

Breaking........Man believed to be armed with 9mm pistol and reportedly firing shots at gardai from house.

The unidentified man is believed to be armed with a 9mm pistol and has fired a number of shots at gardai.

The incident is taking place in Windy Arbour, South Dublin, just off the Dundrum Road.

It is understood the man has somehow injured himself, but it is not clear how this injury was sustained.

Gardai remain at the scene and the area has been cordoned off.

Some of them. Some are done with legally held firearms. Pádraig Nally had a legally held firearm for instance.
