PS4 Pre-Order Thread! Where are you getting yours?

Just wondering where boardies are going to get their PS4's? Are they going to buy it online? Buy it from the likes of Gamestop/Smyths/HMV/Xtravision? Or going Amazon/other online retailers?

Yeah think I will go with amazon for my games now.
I knew I should of drove to smyths and pre-ordered in store,gamestop won't even reply to emails now they are useless.

Thats Sh!ty about those of you who pre-ordered online not being offered bundles. I would go stone cold on them if it was me in that situation. Another reason why i prefer dealing with them face to face in stores. Seems you can get away with stuff like that easier if its ordered online.

In Solidarity with those affected on this thread i shall not buy off GameStop Online anymore either.

Getting my Killzone mega bundle and BF4 off them on launch night, but all other games i'll get from amazon.

Can someone ask gamestop on twitter if they are honoring early online pre orders for launch day. I would but I have been complaining so much to them when they seem to have stopped replying to me now!

Hi yea I order Titanfall off them doh never buy a game off them before only downside it take 10 to 14 day to deliver.

It usually comes quicker than that, have ordered on a Saturday before and it arrived on the following Friday, it is the only site I use now unless I really want something on the day, although sometimes Amazon can be cheaper for new games.

I've been told that Gamestop online customers will be offered €10/20 off an additional controller and games ect, but even at that ( if it is €20 for each) it's still not as good as the €500 Killzone pack not unless I can add more than 1 game and I'd say it's going to be a very limited offer.

If you go by Amazons Prices, to get the Camera, Controller and Game would be a extra €188 Euro, so Gamestop need to offer at least €88 in discounts to make it on par with the €499 Killzone Bundle.

Was in smyths today ennis road limerick and confirmed my bundle order went for the €499 Killzone and Camera Bundle, they took my old pre order receipt and gave me a new one with my bundle on it. Told me they are getting 31 consoles on day 1 and more before Christmas but said it would be less then they got for day one. Happy its all sorted now cant't wait for Nov 29th to stop all this talk and actually have it in my hand. I feel sorry for anyone who is being messed around about bundles it really is a disgrace !

Disk-based games work like they do now - just put the disk in your friend's PS4 and work away.

Downloaded games also work. As long as you are logged into your PSN on your friend's PS4, you can access all of your games too.

im doing the same for alot of my games too. im preordering 2 games next week and its less than 100 euro including delivery. 120+ in the shops. its a no brainer :L

I would just be worried about customs getting hold of them,happened me before and ended up paying more than I would of payed here.

Nah I order of cd wow and there games come from Hong Kong I think that only happen on certain products.

Got a phone call from Gamestop in the Cresent today offering me the chance to upgrade to 1 of three bundles with the Killzone mega bundle being exclusive to early pre orders.

I of course choose to go with the Killzone mega bundle :pac:

Have had no problems with www.videogamesplus.ca so far customs wise thankfully, actually have only been done once for customs and that was a halloween outfit from America, pissed me off so much I payed them in 1&2 cents and made them count it out to make sure it was all there.

Could well do actually. UK customs won't check the items and I doubt there would be an Irish customs check on the way south.

No there not got GTA 5 of Cdwow.ie and the game came from Hong Kong they should only do that on stuff over a €1000 because seem pointless the government robbing us already pay taxing more on lower paid income they probably charge us for breathing next:rolleyes:

So why get the bundle just get watchdog bundle or FIFA 14 if you can it not bad considering xbone 429 and that just for console talking about standard.That good bundle 489 two games a extra controller and camera.

It works out about €16 dearer in euros then if you got the €399 Killzone Bundle and bought Fifa separately in a store, so assuming your using Amazon it is a good deal if thats where you have ordered. The PS3 controllers still set you back over €50 so they will be that price.

Also you do know there is a cheaper bundle that has the 2 Controllers, Camera, Fifa and the Console.

the controller alone is 40 euro on videgamesplus.ca could just buy that and not get a bundle to save some money and hastle

Yep got that mail yesterday upgraded to the kilzone + 2 controllers + camera bundle but it costs £449+vat£10 so converts to about €540.

I had ordered with gamestop.ie also and was going to cancel my amazon order but with gamestop not offering the bundles now I don't know what to do?
