I was looking forward to it, but it is costly. I understand it can be an investment, but the capital cost is a bit much

For now I'm going high end air and I'll see where I can go from there.

I'm thinking PWMs for the 4 pin connectors I have, and I'll just stick with 800/1150 RPM 140s then (I'd say 800 will be safer to go for, sound wise).

By positive pressure you mean intaking more than you're taking out? (Because cool air going is trumps hot air going out in general?).

Can't justify the cost-benefit ratio. So that's why I am adding three fans to the already 3 fans in the case.

Think I'm going to grab a Nanoxia Deep Silence One case and a Z87x-D3h board for my 4770k build (it seems to be the one lots of people are going for).

The Nanoxia has a 2 channel fan controller for its 3 fans, with space for 3 more. I'm assuming this accepts only 3 pin fan connectors, or how does it work? I haven't used one before, so I don't know. I am looking for really good airflow, so am looking to purchase up to 3 additional quality fans, 140mm probably for better airflow and quieter. The Scythes come recommended by Serephecus.

I have space for a top exhaust, bottom intake (is that floor?) and side intake. What fans should I get? The gigabyte board has 2 additional 4 pin connectors, so maybe 2 PWMs? Fractal XL was something I was looking at, I just like the massive size of this one. The removable MB tray is also highly appealing!

There's a lot of good midi towers as well in the €90-€150 regions which have more than enough space for most builds.

I'll have a look see, if I'm dishing out the dollah, I just want a good sturdy one! Colour isn't going to be a deciding factor, I'd take anything if it was built well and would last me years. That's ultimately the goal, have a case that'll last far longer than the components!

My build atm isn't massive or that big(not yet anyway). Just future proofing the one aspect of a computer you actually can

Very good on first impressions, super compact and a sturdy build. It would definitely make a serviceable weapon in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

Haven't actually plugged it in as I am home in Ennis for the weekend. A bit on the high side so might need a gel wristpad, but I'll see how it goes. Other than that very pleased with it.

Fears were definitely unfounded noise wise, I've had plenty louder dome ones in the past.

they're very heavy like model M heavy it takes a bit of getting used to.

Yeah, they're extremely hard to find, that's the only thing. Corsair's K70s aren't supposed to be around until July (read: late August) so I'll be waiting either way. I'd just really like to try Greens, more than anything, dunno if they're too heavy for regular use or not.
