I rent a house in Harolds Cross. I was thinking of commuting but fuel alone was more than the rent! It also means I can get up later in the mornings:P

a friend of mine up that way had his corolla broken into last year, the stole his stereo... had drunk lads dance on the car too afaik. i'd lose the plot if it happened to me. must be a dub thing

I live in a house on a normal estate rather than a student place. We're probably the loudest people on the road and all of our friends know what would happen to them is they did something to my car!

Jaypers you're flyin through it! Tis the same with most army courses, when I did my PNCO last year it started with 100+ candidates, 70 of which actually did the full paperwork, about 50 at the weekend, 40 by mod 1 and 20 by the end of mod 2.... :eek:

I wish to refer to your application for a Cadetship in the Army and to request your attendance for Stage 3 of the competition, Fitness Test, Realistic Job Preview, Group Assessment and Psychometric Testing. This is an overnight stay in the Curragh Camp. Candidates will NOT require suits/formal wear for this stage of the competition.

Venue: Defence Forces Training Centre, Curragh Camp, Co Kildare.

Candidates should report to the Gymnasium in the Curragh Camp (this will be well signposted from the entrance into the camp).

Date: Friday 05 July 2013 Time: 12:30

When reporting you should bring the following:

a. GP certification letter signed by your GP certifying that you are fit to do the Defence Forces Physical Training Induction Test.

b. If under 18 years of age, the form of consent signed by your parents consenting to allow you to undergo the various stages of the competition.

c. Photographic identity card (e.g. Passport, Driving Licence or Garda ID).

d. A list of all addresses at which you resided since birth and the dates you resided at each of these addresses.

e. A copy of this email.

f. Training gear.

g. Overnight bag.

h. Calculator, pencils, pens and paper.

Failure to bring any of the above mentioned documents may result in you being removed from the competition.
