If it's the coils it can be diagnosed in a few minutes. With the engine running, each coil is disconnected and if the engine runs worse, the coil is fine. If the engine runs the same, that coil is busted.

If it's turbo related, it's possibly a split boost pipe or something along those lines but a split pipe would make the issue happen all the time.

EDIT: I see George Dalton was posting on your thread. He knows his stuff and he's near Abbeyleix so not far for you to go.

All the other stuff is normal the dtc are the fault codes. When it showed none that means no fault codes were logged by the car. Granted a mechanic may be able to get more codes with proper diagnostic equipment. But take it there is no major codes logged. Still a vacuum hose leaking wouldn't show a code neither would a turbo. Still at least you know now its probably more than likely a mechanical fault rather than an electrical. Unfortunately I don't know any mechanics in Dublin so can't recommend anyone.

I also learned that

Autos have a clutch pedal
The jeeps on the runway didn't need propshafts to drive

Does anyone know where the rear indicator fuse is for a BMW535i? It is a 2001 model
The user manual doesnt tell you??!!!!!
I have looked in the 2 fuse boards (one in the boot and one in the glove compartment BUT NO LISTING for indicators
So bloody annoying

Any help much appreciated

I would guess that that was caused by the seatbelt buckle being hanging in the door jab and the door being closed on it. Get some Hammerite direct on rust paint and a small brush. No one will notice that there is a small dot of a different colour there

It looks like a door jam so I would try it. I'd imagine they will find a way out but no hard in trying it as it is an out of the way part of the car to be damaged. If it was the bonnet or bumper I wouldnt bother but a part as protected as that it's surely worth a shot.

I remember seeing 08 Sprinter vans in 09 rotten with rust..... Wings, doors, body. Almost everywhere :eek:

I don't see any marks apart from the usual door shut rub so I'd say it's a chink in the armour....

Merc vans are known for it.

We had a VITO on 01 plates and she was riddled with rust by the time the 05 upgrade came around. The 05 didn't fair much better. Rusted by 07.

166man went over it with clay and a 100:1 water/demon shine wix the other day so it's already fairly clean but I'm gonna attack it again to get it super slippery.
Wanna do the windscreen too, didn't get a chance to do that last time.
