Many of you will remember my reluctance to go and meet "Mr. Boyfriend" for the very first time two years ago. Many of the ladies of TLL gave me loads of encouragement and on Jan 22nd 2011 I met him for the first time. My first piece of news is that we celebrated our second anniversary last Tuesday :D
Unforunately we didnt really get to celebrate it as on Thursday last week I went to the courthouse to try and get my divorce after 4 long years of back and forth between solicitors. Many of you know the hard time I have been through with regards to my ex-husband and have been very supportive through many rough times I have had. After an extremely long day, filled with every emotion possible, exhaustion from not sleeping for the week and a half previous and with the love and supoort of Mr.Boyfriend and my two closest friends, my exhusband and I finally reached an agreement. I went back to the courthouse on Friday and finally I heard the words I have longed to hear "I hearby grant a decree of divorce". I am emotionally and physically exhausted but finally feeling ok. I am starting a new chapter in my life and it feels FANTASTIC!!!!! I just wanted to thank everyone who has been so supportive to me during the past few years. While I havent been around here much, I have been thinking of you all and I hope I will be able to post a lot more regularly in the future.:D:D:D

A divorced woman must wait nine months or obtain dispensation from a local court before she can remarry in Italy, because she could be pregnant by her former husband at the time of the divorce.
A couple divorcing by consent must wait three years to be divorced but couples not divorcing by consent must wait five years after fault has been proved.

My Irish grand-uncle served in the British army in both wars, and escaped from a German POW camp three times

I have all the ingredients in the kitchen and I can hear them mocking me. They think I can't make them into a cake. But I'll show them! (Provided it'll still be at its best on Sunday)

Yeah I wish I could have heard them, they've all since passed away so I never got to ask them about their experiences. The grand-uncle who served in both wars was a complete nutter though, from what I've been told :pac:

He would tell me the happier stories when I was younger but would not tell me the sad ones until I was in my late teens. He said he saw the best and the worst of humanity in those years.
