The guns were bought on the internet I believe, however you do need to ship firearms to a FFL (ie a gunstore) for collection. Don't you think refusal of membership of a range should set a flag? I'd support some controls around that - perhaps it should trigger an evaluation before continued gun ownership is allwed.

Not in Ireland. You have to give your GP's contact details and the names of two character referees.

I don't think it's necessary in the UK either.

There are dozens of chamberings and calibres available in AR-15 configurations. Rifles absolutely *do* come in "sizes".

I don't think its a CT to suggest he was sedated. He looks very sedated.

Bear in mind this man is very intelligent and committed a crime that required a lot of planning and technical no-how. The guy we seen in court today, would not be capable of it if he was in that state all the time.

The fact he was on suicide watch could be an explanation of why he was sedated.

He works in the wilderness of the pacific north west. He doesn't expect to meet wolves down at the supermarket. Attacks by healthy wolves on humans are extremely rare yes but I think its fair to say they would be a more formidable threat than a lone grizzly if they do choose to attack.

I'm currently living in Arizona. I've never owned a gun, never fired a gun and hope to never have to fire one BUT if I was to settle down here, I would buy one.

There's a lot of things around here that can get ya if they want. Bobcats, Snakes, Bears, Coyotes, Mountain Lions etc.

I've only been here a few months and have already seen a big oul snake. There's been a few bear attacks up North.

Everyone should read Jason Alexanders blog about it. It's great.

Try not to shoot the coyotes old chap, we have learned to live with them and they do a good job of keeping down the bunnies in my backyard. However if a pack did get aggressive Kirby wants me to trap them
