Irish summer courses to prepare for primary teaching course?
MaryKirwan
I need to drastically improve my Irish during the summer so that come February I have decent enough Irish to get into St. Pat's as a postgraduate (some of the interview is as Gaeilge), anyone know any suitable Irish summer courses? I could get a grind if push comes to shove, but I'd prefer to be in a group of people rather than one on one.
(Also, I do indeed have a C in honours Irish before someone asks).

Do you mean a course in the Gaeltacht for adults?

Actually, preferably not. I mean something in Dublin.

These courses are reputable, but you may find them expensive.

This course is great if you've enough Irish to understand the instructions. You could use this and then just do a three week cnag course at the end of the Summer.
Finding an Irish speaker to do one-on-one conversation with you would be ideal.
Good luck!
