I'm following Duncan from the yogscast and his introduction to it. It's a lot to take in. It also seems that there is alot of crap in Technic that I don't want.

Tekkit is pretty awesome alright. Makes life easier. The entire thing is made off the backend of a bukkit plugin called Spout, which was the start of it all. My only gripe is that its more resource intensive even with minimal plugins selected.

If it's too much trouble for boards server mods to set up 1 or the server doesn't have enough ram I'll be able to provide a tekkit server.
