I saw my fair share of these before I deactivated my account.

One of the worst came from an american 'friend'(?) of mine.

She said and I quote:
"Ughhh so stupid...I have to get a visa to go to south america! I mean seriously isn't this the UNITED sates! Ahhhhh....Worst state ever!"

She was promptly removed from my friends list.

Is it just me or is it usually people who had absolutely nothing to do with their relative when they are alive who post up these statuses. A relative of mine is constantly on about her father who died 5 years ago, the thing is she didn't have much interest in him when he was alive.

Another girl I know posts up stuff about her dead father literally every day.
I wonder do these people feel guilty for something they did or didn't do when their parents were alive?

One girl on my facebook falsely accused her dad of sexually abusing her to get attention when he was alive. He died about 10 years ago and every few days there are status updates about how much she misses him, he was the perfect dad ever etc. :rolleyes:
