Has anyone ever used one

They're fanf*ckingtastic! If there's ever a fly that annoys you, especially one of the big dirty arsed bluebottles, use this mofo on them and it will sizzle the living shíte out of them. You get a good crack and a flash and a tremendous feeling of self satisfaction.

And it's not cruel, whats cruel is the persistent buzzing that puts them in that situtation. Anyways, I always feed them to the spiders afterwards, circle of life etc

No - The electric swatter wins because theres a crackle when they ride the lightning, a little flash/sparks then a puff of smoke and then you can smell them as they cook - Its a really enjoyable vengance on the horrible little disease-ridden pests

I bought one years ago in Holland that was just a single grid but all the new ones have 3 separate layers so you wouldn't touch the live part (or children wouldnt hit each other with it) so thats kind of ruined things.

I don't have one myself but I used to work at a deli counter and they had a huge one, big industrial job! .... those noises were brill! Especially in those hot Summer (Summer?) days!
Occasionally, you'd get a stubborn fly and he'd fry for maybe 70 -90 seconds! Like that scene in The Green Mile - it got kinda uneasy watching it! All nearby staff and customers used to be glued to it!

i have electric fly killers on the walls the ones you see in restaurants it just fry's em up i love to stunn the odd few as well and throw them into the spiders webs i love watching the spiders devouring them im a bit of a weird charcter

Unless this microwave is for the exclusive use of nuking flyin things,I cannot agree.

The thought of buzz buzz disintegrating and his dog poo covered feet and his fat body of baby buzzes being smattered inside the vessel which I use to heat up my baked beans is hard to take.
