Qustion on steps

Carpenters currently knocking up some tempory internal steps. 450mm changes in levels.Checked with arcitect .... three risers of 150mm... cannot do it in two.
Carpentry sure thats incorrect , but are doing as instructed.. Whos right...
They say joinery shop won't make as above when it comes to getting the hardwood steps done.

You can go to 220mm max so if the change was 440mm, 2 steps would do.

As Mick said, 220 is the max in a house,

I would go with three steps of 150mm rise it would look better aswell. 220 is a bit high in my own opinion. Just my tuppence worth.
