I am a single professional male in my 30s and I wouldn't go anywhere near a girl my own age. I focus purely on girls in their early to mid 20s.

I would say the madness proportion in the entire human race is at its
highest in women whose sell by date is approaching. Once it has passed,
and they have had to accept the fact that there were no takers, they can console themselves with a houseful of cushions and a dog or a cat.

But when they are in the stage of trying desperately to snag someone, while also doing everything they can to avoid admitting what is going on, then they are just fearsome. And then there are usually several other
ingredients in the mix - ugliness, years of heavy drinking, years of
desperate screwing. Etc., etc.

It has nothing to do with a woman loosing thier looks it is to do with the start in the decline of thier rate of fertility were as men can get someone preggers until they are in thier 60/70.

A lot of men have a crisis in the 30's when they realise their lives aren't going to plan same as women. The only difference is you can blame a womans on her 'biological clock'. I know a few men that started freaking out in 30's when they realised they were nowhere near the lifes goals of careers, own homes, cars, partner, children, traveling etc

In fairness if you're always the guy looking for the younger 'carefree' girls i'd say you look like you're having a crisis yourself. I can't count the amount of times older men have come onto me or my friends when we've just thought desperate, loser or perv.

You come onto a message board, to a forum aptly named The ladies lounge, where most of the users in question are... female. Then decide to declare to the world that women are mad. Not in a funny or humorous manner but in a desperately sad and bitter way.

It's quite laughable really. Wonder why you are single dude, probably some balding man trying desperately to cling onto his long gone years by buying a pair of designer sunglasses, a funky shirt and a cheesy smile. When in reality you just come off as a sad lonely little man with nothing better to do than perv on younger women, slide up to them in your greasy lil outfit, salivate for a while then finally pluck up the courage to say 'hi' in a manner that i can only imagine resembles a teenage boy who's voice is just about to break.

Thanks for the constructive response. So, you are saying that the decline in a woman's appeal is due to her declining fertility?

That the madness is essentially a side effect, which unfortunately also makes her less attractive to men?

Meh, I get far more male attention now at 30 than I did when I was in my early 20s. Back then, I was really baby-faced and didn't live very healthily so I looked wrecked. I also had a few extra lbs on me between 19 and 20 cuz of the pill (and yes, eating crap and too much booze!)

Also, I'm a lot more secure in myself now than when I was under 25. So OP, maybe consider the individual woman instead of making wild generalisations...

Oh and also, maybe think for yourself instead of taking stereotypes and what the media says (y'know, the one that's trying to sell anti-ageing creams to women) as gospel...

Funny, I made a passing reference to this in another post minutes before you started this thread.

People are acting like this guy is being an asshole but he's right, girls get a bit nuts as they approach the three-oh mark. I've basically had to confine myself to girls in their early twenties because I'm not after a serious relationship. This, apparently, is completely unacceptable to women my own age.

I can only talk from my own experience but I see it in girls I've known for years who are getting increasingly desperate for a boyfriend now that they're the wrong side of 25. And other girls who are in this massive hurry to move in and settle down with guys they wouldn't have touched 2 or 3 years ago... I guess because they're the steady, dependable option. It's hilarious watching the change in them!

For the record I'm mid-twenties and not a perv :pac: Just not after a girlfriend/wife/child-bearer.

Women's shape changes when they are out of their peak fertile years.
And on a purely basic biological reproductive level they are not as attractive.

Some women in their late 20s/30s yes... and you know why? Because they've insecurities and take comments like "you'll be left on the shelf" etc to heart rather than relaxing about things - hence the desperation.

When I was in my mid teens I couldn't stand women, as they mature they get better and better. By the sounds of it, us guys don't though... which is worrying for me.
