black people: niggards?

anybody else find black people niggards? i mean, im from cavan and apparantly we are the most niggardly people according to irish slagging legend. i just happened to be in a pub last night and noticed a black guy arguing with the bar-staff over the price of a round of drinks... was it just him or are all black people niggards ?(without wanting to tar an entire race with the same brush!) ?

That's not true of all African Americans and certainly not true of all black people. A lot of people regardless of colour dislike the term due to its discriminatory and degrading uses in the past. Skanger doesn't come close to being comparable.
