Of course he can end it, tell his horde to go home and get back within the 1991 borders. Release the children and POWs that were taken. Then send a big bag of cash as reparations and it'll all be over.
Apart from all his other Heroic actions eg. riding wild horses bear back in wild terrain, judo master, discovering ancient artifacts from deep sea diving, he can now add to that list BOMB DISPOSAL EXPERT. !!!!!!!!! . When you are a busy man , like Putin, you may not have time to change between one event and another? It’s beyond discussing that these bomb makers put in so much carbon into their manufacture

Another one of Ireland's Tankie traitors gets exposed for hypocrisy.
Updated video description.
The hypocrisy of that Councillor is laughable….
I'd buy into a lot of that. Hence why he's looking to poke the Europeans into escalating the conflict so that he can essentially start afresh with his war without having to admit defeat in Ukraine - he'd just repackage the conflict as NATO vs Russia and double down on efforts to brainwash the population to his propaganda.
Europe needs to be careful in how it responds - much as I'd love to see its military unleashed on the Russian border regions to establish a buffer, its probably a case of renewing efforts to support Ukraine in taking the fight to Putin, ramping up and more effectively enforcing sanctions and more efforts on diplomatically isolating Russia (something Europe/ the West has been slipping up massively on recently).
Putin is entering desperation territory now, it's quite clear.
Is that the ship that scared off the Royal Navy on escort duty through the Channel recently? Heard the Ukrainians had hit/ targeted that this week
I believe so.
On the economic forum, there's about 120 countries represented so not much condemnation of Russia going around these days. The Gombeen Limerick politician is not a small minority I'm afraid.
The US is back at it again of course. A little bit on Trump's rep. Standard stuff.
U.S. President Donald Trump appointed Rodney Mims Cook Jr. as chairman of the federal arts and architecture advisory body in January. As chairman, he has been the key official overseeing the approval of Trump’s controversial White House ballroom extension.
Trump’s White House Ballroom Commissioner to Attend Putin’s Speech at St. Petersburg Economic Forum - The Moscow Times
Putin is due to give a keynote address on Friday. I really hope he's scared out of it but again his double is a much braver soul than he is.
”Putin is entering desperation territory now, it's quite clear.
agree
Any chance of a hint as to what the link is about?
I'm guessing Caolan's interview with this guy -
Jerome Scanlan, NP | Limerick.ie
Not his actual quote but how you could interpret his message.
Ireland are acting unilaterally on Israel but hide behind the EU as an excuse not to act on Russia.
Sometimes we're a pathetic little nation.
Watching Caolan's face throughout that interview is priceless.
He set him up beautifully to show the bumbling fool for the hypocrite he is.
Russia is considering lowering the country’s working age to 12 and reopening Soviet child labour camps to solve the country's job crisis
Interesting that Russian maps are claiming Ukrainian activity along the N08
Am getting a very strong feeling that Ukraine are hell bent on beseiging Crimea this summer. All kinds of reports coming out at the moment from the Russian side, bemoaning the lack of … well, everything, including the lack of any acknowlegement by the Kremlin that the situation is rapidly turning catastrophic.
Scarcity of food, water, fuel and this evening a cryptic post from a Russian blogger saying that the "when" in his "when, not if" prediction of a few days ago is "now, today" The prediction was that Ukraine would find a way to destroy aircraft inside their concrete shelters …
Hmm. Looking forward to seeing some confirmation of that - but if Ukraine is getting right into these bases, then things are much worse for the Russians than even the most optimistic of us hoped for.
when was this?
If only the US know how so little extra help and support the Ukr needs so as to send Russia back home in ‘jig time’ .bBut ,of course, if it did thinks would not change under the current administration there.
It might change, from just not supporting them to actively impeding them. Though I'm not sure what the US could do at this in practical terms, given that they're a bit preoccupied elsewhere.
A Russian civilian has recorded the aftermath of a strike on the Russian Project 20380 corvette Boykiy in Kronstadt. One crew member was killed in the attack. : r/ukraine https://share.google/lImOzGONaKvaJFc7a
caolan has interviewed the biggest and the best of them, this guy would be like squatting a fly
Armed forces Ukraine continue to disarm putin's terrorists with an explosives factory hit and also a shahed drone launch site targeted:
https://bsky.app/profile/noelreports.com/post/3mnifyiedkc2l
Also footage shared of a strike on a patrol boat near Crimea:
https://bsky.app/profile/specialkhersoncat.bsky.social/post/3mnhe7njgqk2u
Also more details of putin's terrorists being made less welcome in occupied territories of Ukraine here:

Not even the terrorists ammunition depots are safe.
On the Ukrainians being able to hit Russian planes in secure bunkers....yeah I've seen the same talk on x tonight but no official video posted yet.
Interesting though it's the Russian side saying it i.e. indicates it's probably true
Another russian ship has been promoted to submarine apparently
It would be very good if your hunch is right. It might be a smidge too optimistic to see it happening this summer, but were it to happen at all it has the potential to change the whole dynamic of this War.
Threatening Crimea goes to the very heart of what Putin wants out of this. If Ukraine were somehow able to beseige Crimea or otherwise make it look like there is a chance of Russia losing control there, I would not be surprised if the Kremlin were to reassign the bulk of their forces on the East and North over to fronts around Crimea. Putin wants Crimea and Kiev itself…I doubt he gives a fiddlers about the Donbas nor the "People's Republics" therein.
I can imagine a full focus of Russia on the Southern fronts, at the cost of everything else and I can also imagine that move costing them the entire war. They are no longer equipped to interdict AFU attacks on their convoys, and mass troop movements would become easy (and grim) pickings for the Ukrainian drones.
A timely open letter from VZ to VP suggesting and requesting peace talks to coincide with a ceasefire. Well planned as usual from Kyiv - just in case there's any danger of the world being duped by VP and TACO into seeing Ukraine as the blood thirsty, Nazified war mongers - yet another offer of an off ramp to Putin. Knowing full well that he'll ignore it out of pride and embarrassment. And demonstrating the difference between Ukr and Rus - whereas Putin only talks of peace talks when he's getting hammered by Ukr and the Russian's say "why would be negotiate now, we're winning" when they feel the momentum is with them… even when Ukraine is at its strongest position in the war it still leaves the door open for talks.
Mass Ukrainian attacks on Russian transport ships last night.
This is only going to get worse and worse....as they say about people going bankrupt- slowly then suddenly
This is reaching crisis point for the Russians if multiple ships heading to Crimea are being hit.
I think Ukraine will be quite happy not retaking Crimea but would settle for making it an island. It would be a huge logistical undertaking for the Russians and they'd just get picked off trying to resupply by ship.
In 2023 the goal was to get closer to Crimea in the south and I don't think that goal has changed.
The dummy underneath the van! At least they're creative.
Here's the video
These drones are getting very powerful
Ah, I wouldn't be suggesting that Ukraine will have the run of the place unmolested, nor would I think they'd even try to put some symbolic boots on the ground. I do think, though, at this stage it's entirely conceivable that they're prepared to destroy what's left of the Crimean economy to create conditions where ethnic/planted Russians see no point in staying there. If there's no oil industry, no functional sea port, no (safe) military/navy/air bases and no tourist industry, that's a hell of a lot of economic destruction.
In addition, if Ukraine manages to get rid of all the functional airbases on the peninsula, then it gives their drones and missiles a much easier passage towards the south-western parts of Russia, including the Caspian Sea. Remember this is the territory where Prigozhin started his ill-fated trip to Moscow with plenty of local support - if that population starts to feel that they are now fully on the frontline, they have an awful lot of the Black Sea coast to use as a bargaining chip with the Kremlin if/when they decide it's time for a cessation of hostilities.
