You have quoted an article without providing a link to it. I'm guessing that your quote is from this article which is date May 5th. However, Burkes CoA appeal was decided on May 21st (and it dismissed his appeal): Enoch Burke officially sacked after appeals panel upholds school’s decision
So as I understand it, Burke has no current legal cases currently in progress. He is free to leave prison when he purges his contempt (as was always the case). However, he continues to refuse to provide an undertaking not to attend the school which is why Judge Cregan is dead right to keep him in prison. In short, Burke has no reason to want to remain in prison other than it helps his attention seeking whoring. He can leave whenever he wants if he agrees to be a law abiding citizen - but he refuses to promise to be one!
So come tomorrow, Enoch will be evicted from prison and there's no school for him to go to, so there is no court order for him to purge. The court order is to not trespass on school property during teaching hours. He'll be back in September though.
What a waste of a life. I wonder if he was ever actually interested in teaching or if mammy told him to do it.

Well, until his teaching licence is cancelled, he could always take up employment at his Mum's school.
obviously just opinion but I suspect he wanted to be a teacher and was probably quite good at it unfortunately he’s unable to control himself and has dug a hole of his own stupidity and ensured he will never teach in any normal school again. It would almost be sad if it was t self inflicted by a bigot on himself.
I expect the state to fully pursue to get every penny of the owed fines, interest and any legal costs back through withholding future salaries and assetts. If you dont pay a parking fine, speeding ticket, any court fine, owed taxes, etc.. the state/local authority will pursue the matter until your death. And even then they will take it out of the assetts you leave behind. You will be dragged to court, given a criminal conviction and posdibly jailed. It will never be a case of ah, its all over now, he/she did their few weeks prison time in Castlerea, sure let's forget about it now. So I'm interested to see if the state continues to pursue payments and costs.
Hypothetically, if Enoch were to be dismissed from his prison (as he no reason to attend WHS) could he then turn up outside Mountjoy/Castlerea protesting that he is faithfully attending his place of incarceration as he has never purged his contempt?
He is said to be a very good teacher. He even has a YouTube channel teaching German.
Well that's about all he'll have from now on, as no school will touch him. And it's all entirely down to his own appalling, childish behaviour.

I linked to an Irish Times article from 2010 a few pages ago - apparently Enoch turned down a place to study medicine. If he had the points for that he could have had his pick of any degree place really.

@Juran Enoch has no assets as far as we know. He may one day inherit a share in the family home, but that's likely it. He has no salary and little prospect of one, at least not in this country. I would expect he'd decline to claim social welfare benefits. If he gets a job overseas and never comes back it's hard to see how the State can pursue him for the fines.
People seem to go on about how good a teacher he was or how smart he was - he clearly is book smart but has no emotional intelligence, people skills or anything like that.
Unlikely he would disrupt the exams. His whole point of turning up to school was to teach, he even continued to follow the timetable that was in place when he was first suspended.
Anyway he stays in prison for another 3 weeks, so maybe kept there until exams are over.

Still holding on to the belief that he is right and everyone else is wrong. He should not be given the opportunity to disrupt the school or students sitting state examinations.

If nothing else he will never get a Mortgage , Car Loan , Credit card or any other kind of financial agreement as any credit check will set off a massive alarm as long as all those judgements are sitting there unresolved.
I would dispute that. His whole point was to pretend that he was on some hateful campaign regarding sexuality and how he was allegedly unfairly treated for his beliefs (as if bullying your school principal is a non-issue). He is still continuing with that nonsense knowing full well that he is lying about his reasons for his dismissal and imprisonment. The man has been lying since the outset. Whatever he has been doing has nothing to do with wanting to teach!

I think the whole homeschooling situation needs to be looked at. This should have been caught early, much earlier. I'm aware of the constitutional right, but there is also a constitutional responsibility, and the Burkes have clearly failed to uphold the latter.

According to the RTE reporter at today's hearing, EB will be staying in prison for at least another three weeks. He is apparently still considering making another appeal to the courts about his dismissal from WHS.
Doubt you'll find the teaching the Burkes were receiving was in any way genuinely religious.
In any event, you should read the Constitution and familiarise yourself with the responsibility around home schooling. It might be a bit eye-opening for you.

Burke is to remain in prison after he refused on Wednesday to give a court undertaking not to trespass at his former workplace, Wilson’s Hospital School.
Question answered, the contempt finding remains, Burke will not cooperate, and will remain in prison. No big surprises there, to be honest.
