New discussion for 2026 campaign
only seen this now, im not really sure how the whole thing works. prob not get a call at this rate!!
Hi everyone hope you are all are doing good today. Quick and random question for people you know when they talk about batches in the cs does anyone here know how many people are in a batch? Currently Im no 93 oom for limerick with the permanent clerical officer campaign for public jobs
Scored 77 in Donegal and have an interview tomorrow. Wish me luck 🙏
All depends on the county you’ve selected, look at the mobility map gives a great idea what’s in your area etc. They could do batches of 10 or batches of 100 people for interviews, it’s the waiting round that’s really frustrating!
You're only scored on the part A and Part B of the application (the SJ and the four 350 word text boxes), not on your work experience, that comes into the interview.
Yes, bullet points for your previous employment duties is correct and what everyone does.
I don't have much experience at all in life but what I did was basically typed my work/college examples into ChatGPT/Claude and uploaded the 3 images of the capability framework and asked it to tailor my answer in STAR to include and revolve around the keywords in the capability framework. Obviously, I did not copy and paste this answer into my application. I reworded/re-wrote it several times so it did not sound like an AI generated piece. In the results email, it breaks down the score bands and gives you your score for part A and B and you can see which one dragged you down.
Unfortunately, the written responses are very subjective in that a person is marking them and reading them. It is not clear what is required in the text answers to score within the highest band.
Some people who applied for the TCO competition used the exact same written examples that had helped them to score high and in this competition they performed poorly. Therefore it’s definitely being read by someone.
But really the most important thing is that you need to be getting the keywords in the framework into your answers and several in CS HR on the Reddit thread have said this as well.
where can the mobility map be found!!! please
Went well I think. Told I'll be sent an email in a few weeks and if successful I'll be put on a panel and offered a job if one becomes available.
Good luck to all interviewing 🙏
Congrats! Looks like they are doing big bulk interviews county by county then. I'm half that number in Galway and haven't been called for interview yet so must be on a planned sequence

anyone in the top 50 for Dublin started clearance?
Just wondering is this from the same CO Civil Service campaign 2026 as I got 30 in order of merit in Donegal and never got called yet for interview.
Yes this is for the 2026 CO Comp, someone above claims they did an interview today for Donegal
Hi,I’m wondering how far on the order of merit qualify’s to get called for an interview?
Are you sure this is for the 2026 permanent CO campaign. I know people below 77 who have not been called for interview yet?
@bonner24I got OOM 40s for Donegal and never heard anything either. I only selected certain towns unless this is a reason, I don't know.
Depends on your area
Are the interviews on Zoom/Teams online or in person?
Anyone any insight on if there's been much movement with interviews in general? Even better if you know specifically about Tipperary!
Anyone called for an interview in Offaly?
No, and I am in the top 10, Offaly does not move fast. If you are outside the top 40/50 youll have no chance unless they hiring for NSSO etc..
Ah right. Well I am 13 so hopeful of an interview at some stage.
anyone get called for an interview in Donegal ?
Hey All,
didn’t know this existed - Merit 51 - location selected Dublin - called for interview 07/04 - passed and on the panel. Now it’s a waiting game.
:-)
Has anyone in Clare been called in for an interview yet?
Hi does anyone know has there been any movement on Limerick yet?
hi does anyone know if Cork is moving and is OOM 430 too low to get called?
