Reports stating that Israel have launched an attack against Iran
Hezbollah breeched it by not decommissioning which is all that matters. They agreed to it. Why didn't they just do it?
Ah yes. Israeli violations don’t matter. When two sides make an agreement only one side is bound by the agreement if the other side is Israel. Of course. Makes perfect sense.
So is the conflict over or not? Trump must recognise that Regime change is now not possible.
Where does this leave Israel?
Up **** creek. Iran will probably go after them once they know taco is off in Doonbeg.
Yep! That all justifies the PLO supporting Saddam Hussain colonising an entire sovereign fellow Arab Muslim nation because it might somehow possibly benefit them in the future. That's solidarity, PLO style.
That's the issue with shilling for Hamas, Hezbollah, the PLO. It's all fine when they're killing Jews, but when they're putting down uprisings by their own people, acting as mercenaries for despotic tyrants, or rubberstamping the enslaving of other nations, it all gets a bit theoretically boggy underfoot. The only solution appears to be endless deflection.
Lindsey Graham is really mongering this war:
Senator Lindsey Graham on Monday questioned whether the United States should honor a long-sought defense agreement with Saudi Arabia, saying the kingdom’s refusal to join military operations against Iran made the partnership difficult to justify given that Americans were dying in a war Graham himself helped push the Trump administration to start. In a post on X, Graham said the American embassy in Riyadh was being evacuated due to sustained Iranian attacks on Saudi soil, and expressed frustration that Riyadh had declined to participate militarily despite what he described as a shared interest in defeating Iran.“Americans are dying and the US is spending billions to dislodge the terrorist Iranian regime,” he wrote. “Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia seems to be issuing statements and doing things in the background that are marginally helpful.”He extended the pressure to the broader region: “Hopefully Gulf Cooperation Council countries will get more involved as this fight is in their backyard.” The post ended with a veiled threat: “If not, consequences will follow.”

The Wall Street Journal reported that Graham spent months pressing Donald Trump to authorize strikes on Iran, first raising the idea during a round of golf shortly after the 2024 election. The senator made repeated trips to Israel, spoke with Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman to signal that US strikes appeared likely, and said he advised Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on how to approach the president.Graham, in an interview with the outlet, said Israeli officials sometimes shared information with him that “our own government won’t tell me”.

This is the kind of False Equivalency that people often bring up, as though Hezbollah reneging on decommissioning is the same as the other party to the agreement enforcing it.
Why wont they just decommission? Everyone in Lebanon wants them to. Apart from Iranian adjacent Hezbollah supporters that is.
I'm seeing reports that the newest supreme leader has been injured. He was supposed to appear in public today and never showed up.
The headquarters of Iran’s “Prevention Police”, notorious for torturing Iranian women, has been destroyed, according to the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
Wonder will there be any takers?
It seems to have originated from Dr. Amir-Mobarez Parasta an Iranian pro monarchist living in Germany. One person.
The us says Iran killed loads of protestors because it's evil. Iran says us backed terrorists opened fire. 200 police were killed which is a lot and supports Iran's claim as well as other circumstantial evidence. I'm inclined to believe Iran over the USA but who knows. Maybe the truth lies in the middle. It can't be easy running a country under us sanctions for so long.
It's madness really. The pope is against abortion, should he too be executed too? Who's next, the Dalai Lama? Madness.
Just hoping the nukes don't come out
To be devil’s advocate here, if they thought they were hitting part of the naval base they might have hit it twice, ie, a targeting error? Why is still open to debate but the evidence as to whether they did is becoming fairly lopsided. Unless something impressive emerges soon, they’d be wise not to try and brazen it out like the Israelis did time and again in Gaza.
Do you deny that Israel killed hundreds of people including civilians during the “ceasefire”?
What is the timeline for Hezbollah decommissioning?
Even non Shia want security guarantees from Israel as part of any decommissioning process. The country has been invaded and attacked by Israel ad nauseam.
It justs seems a symbolic victory at this stage. I'm sure they will just torture people in other premises now.
The time for revolution was perhaps a few months ago, when Trump did nothing.
I've seen video of morgues where there have been definitely more than 200 bodies. But let's believe Iran . Like Hamas, their word is gospel
Trump is so short-term in his thinking that he may be trying to buy a few days’ grace with that end to war ‘very soon’ remark. The markets will be unhappy if that’s the case.
Would be great if israel closed it's own torture center's.

Biden told the world he saw photos of beheaded babies.
How will they go after them?
Drones? Bombs? Support terrorists in Palestine and Lebanon?
Maybe just nuke them.
Loads of options.
They are already doing the first 3, so that can't be "going after them" in any new way. So what can they do that they are not already doing?
Everyone againtst the war is claiming that Iran has no nukes, and no intention to build them. Are you disagreeing with that? Do you think Iran in reality does have nukes?
Lebanese Maronite Catholic priest Father Pierre al-Rahi has been killed by Israeli tank fire in the village of Qlayaa in southern Lebanon, the Catholic news service OSV News is reporting.
According to OSV, al-Rahi, who was also known as Pierre el-Rai, had refused an Israeli order to flee Qlayaa, a Christian Maronite village in the Marjayoun district a few miles from the Israeli border. The town had been home to some 8,000 people before Israeli attacks began.
“Father Pierre al-Rahi was from my village, Dibeh, but he was the parish priest of Qlayaa in Marjayoun,” Lebanese Maronite Father Jean Younes, secretary general of the Assembly of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops of Lebanon, told OSV News.
“Unfortunately, he passed away. God bless his soul,” Younes said.
Leader of the “free world” ladies and gentlemen. Threatening death fire and fury and that Iran will be hit so hard that they’ll never be able to be built back as a nation again. So he’s in essence threatening to exterminate them as a whole. So much for the protestors.
If Iran does anything that stops the flow of Oil within the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the United States of America TWENTY TIMES HARDER than they have been hit thus far. Additionally, we will take out easily destroyable targets that will make it virtually impossible for Iran to ever be built back, as a Nation, again — Death, Fire, and Fury will reign upon them — But I hope, and pray, that it does not happen! This is a gift from the United States of America to China, and all of those Nations that heavily use the Hormuz Strait. Hopefully, it is a gesture that will be greatly appreciated.
You forgot the part where we should be grateful, especially China and the nations that rely heavily on the Strait of Hormuz.
Threats to oil and gas are the main weapon Iran has at this stage - they’re not going to give that up lightly - and if the shortage continues, to paraphrase Mr. Bush, Trump will hear from all of us soon.
Do more of the first 3 maybe?
While they build a nuke. Then hit them with that.
Who knows.
But when taco goes back to playing golf and shouting about Greenland, Iran can plot and scheme their revenge.
Some ambiguity about whether the war will continue. He said yesterday the war was "complete" but later said "we haven't won enough" and warned Iran if it blocked the Hormuz Strait. He appeared not to know it was blocked. Trump has suggested using naval escorts for ships in the strait. CNN says the IGRC say they are waiting for the US ships.
Talk of the US might seize Karg Island, where 90% of Iranian crude is exported. That would make the US vulnerable to Iranian strikes though as its close to the Iranian coast.
Also, MeidasTouch channel on youtube (the most popular liberal US channel I think) says the US has lost 11 Reaper drones (which are expensive) in this conflict.
The drones cost $30 million each and the full system costs $100 million apparently. Reports the war is costing the US $1-2bn a day. Rumours Trump will seek $52bn from Congress to fund the war.
Karoline Leavitt refuses to rule out a draft. She was responding to Fox's Maria Bartiromo who said many mothers were worried their sons would be sent to war.
On this occasion the IRGC spokesperson was on the money when he described Trump’s most recent statements as “nonsense”. If the president thinks he can fool the markets with this garbage he’ll be put right PDQ.
It seems that the US has been at war for 220 out of 247 years of its existence.
