Reports stating that Israel have launched an attack against Iran
They, and they being Israel because they said they did it, have a proven track record of killing children deliberately which is why I do not think it was accidental. You should watch the Voice of Hind Rajab if you think differently.
remember watching a wikileaks clip of an American gunship hellfiring a car in Iraq. When the marines on the ground checked out the car they found dead and injured children in it. The voice I presume was the helicopter captain saying well that’s what you get for bringing your children to a war zone. they’re all scum.
Agree, world without rules and laws where might is right that the neoAxis wanted innit?
Just a matter of time before the historical sites start to get targeted and levelled like in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza. Seems to be something Trump has had in his brain for a while.
Amazing how you rightfully condemn USA for this, but not your beloved Russia, where in the other thread you bend over backwards to excuse their ear crimes. How about a bit of moral consistency?
There's mountains of evidence of Israel doing this. Time and time again, part of me wonders if they sent on the coordinates to the US military who simply trusted their word and went for it, doesn't explain the second strike though.
People should have learned from Iraq and Afghanistan that the US are not the good guys. They're just as bad as the counties they try to "liberate" most of the time.
I've been to some of those places, but a warmongering pedophile is probably free to destroy them.
The oil spike-then-plummet price trend won't last. The trajectory will continue upwards because markets hate uncertainty and we've got that in spades. I don't know if Trump has a clue how to get out of this. Everyone says he'll simply declare a win and get out. Don't think it's going to happen as easily as that. Israel aren't going to want to stop. The rest of the world does nothing. Will the Iranians revolt? Will the loyalists respond? Will nothing happen?
Well turns out it ain’t a Islamic republic but a theocratic monarchy
It's hard to see any other viable strategy for Trump but to announce that he has 'won' the war and is ending all hostilities. Strategically, that would be a huge defeat for him and the US, but the alternative of ploughing on with a conflict against Iran that is in no danger of breaking up would be hugely risky. Most political and military analysts are conceding that the war has already gone pear shaped for Trump.
B-52's now over UK trying to land at Fairford.
So between UK and Germany:
8 x B-1 bombers
3× B-52's
Trump is so deranged and childish that he thinks winning the war means that they have blown up loads of stuff and killed loads of people. The effects and ramifications of this attack will take a long time to heal/abate
I don't know how either. Look at how long it took Israel to bomb Gaza to dust and look at how small it is next to Iran.
All Iran really has to do now is survive the bombs and keep the strait of Hormuz closed. It's not like the leaderships cares much for the people so I think they will just try to hunker down and wreck the world economy and let the pressure build on the US and Israel.
He should of took the deal on the table, it was perfect for both parties. Instead they rejected at the behest of others and are now in a war they can't win. US will walk away, throw it's allies under the bus and leave them to sort everything out.
All too familiar, yet these countries never understood US does not have allies, it uses them. From Vietnam to the Gulf states now it has been repeated. Does he throw Israel under the bus though, that is the question, is he even allowed to ?
I read a theory that all of the negotiating was just to get Iran's leaders in a room together to discuss the deal and and then kill them. It's not that far-fetched. Maybe there was never meant to be a deal at all.
Well yeah, it is a familiar pattern with US / Israel involvement.
Solemani was heading to Iraq to make peace with Saudi, he was assasinated.
Nasrallah was in negoiations they bombed and killed him
Twice with Iran while negotiations were underway.
In Qatar Israel bombed the negotiators.
How do you talk to the opposing side given that record. It's more likely a death sentence.
So, no answers to my questions then.
He doesn't have any.
It's ironic because Trump/MAGA is really ushering us at full speed into the kind of pure might makes right horrible dystopian world that brickster's masters wanted to have, as the last bits of any sort of rules based system are shredded.
The likes of rotting Putin's Russia and its sad bunch of allies are poorly tooled in reality for such a nasty and brutish world.
They are not at the races with the US and China.
I have not misrepresented your anti-semitism at all. I quoted the exact words you used about non-Israeli Jews. You described them as being members of an "abhorrent tribe". Those are the exact words you used. When queried, you backed that up with a reference to illustrate that when you used the word tribe you were referring to ALL jews. That's textbook anti-semitism.
but I am not arguing whether or not Israel/U.S. carried out the attack. It was whether or not it was done deliberately, and with the knowledge that it was targeting children in a school…
Anyway, been over it few times. I’d be surprised they did this with full knowledge of what was going to happen…
All the evidence produced so far indicates that you are factually incorrect. As anyone with the remotest interest in looking at factual reality would have guessed right from the start, the missile which hit the school was in all likelihood launched by the Americans. NOT the Israelis.
Your chronic need to ignore reality in order to blame the Israelis here is bizarre.
The Israelis said they bombed the school, I don't know what you think you are trying to prove with this post.
If the Israelis did it I'd expect them to admit it as I'm sure they don't regret it at all
Please provide a reference to show that Israel has said it bombed the school in Iran. I have not seen that anywhere. All I have seen is plenty of reports illustrating that the missile was most likely an American Tomahawk. That, in addition to the huge clue of geography, has long made it much much more likely that this was an American rather than Israeli strike. So let's see your evidence.
If you have none, then I repeat that your need to find the Israelis responsible for this is very bizarre.
In all honesty I couldn't be bothered engaging with you any further. Do you even care that over 100 children were murdered?
There is a ceasefire on offer, the regime has to surrender itself.
However, like the PLO and Hamas, they will put their own survival and the jihad ahead of the interests of their own people and refuse to surrender. If Iran wants peace, give up its leaders and its nuclear programme.
So you have no evidence at all. I'm not surprised. You're just trying to make up your own "facts" which have no basis in reality. You seem to have this driving need to blame Israel for something that emerging evidence, along with the stark reality of geography, illustrates that it appears to have been done by the Americans.
Why is it that you feel the need to blame Israel, despite all the real-world facts? It's Bizarre.
You asked, i answered
Just because you are not able to comprehend that Iranian theocratic repressive regime ain’t the good guys doesn’t make em any less of a terrible bad guys who ended up in a war with another bunch of deplorables
A war where they are daily attacking neutrals and innocent
So you can attack a country, offer peace if they unconditionally surrender, and if they don't do that, it is their fault? Seems pretty cowardly to not want to own a war you started.

"The same arguments we had over Afghanistan and Iraq are happening again. As soon as Ayatollah Khamenei was taken out, it seems as if people just picked a side, and are determined to stick with it, come what may, defending their chosen team through all atrocities and provocations.
It must be comforting at such moments to be possessed of a sense of absolute, shining certainty. I cannot claim to be so sure about anything.
That Iran’s theocratic rulers are no loss to the world ought to go without saying. Those actively mourning the supreme leader, or urging on the remnants of his regime to fire their last remaining missiles at Israel or other Arab nations, have clearly lost their marbles, if they ever had any.
Who even believes that the whited sepulchres wringing their hands over the death toll in Iran are genuinely tormented by civilian casualties? The murder of thousands of young Iranian protesters at the hands of their own government only weeks ago barely registered on their radar.
Nor do they appear unduly bothered by casualties in Tel Aviv.
Indeed, many on the wilder fringes of the anti-Israel cult are taking open delight in the rain of Iranian missiles heading the Jewish state’s way each night, seeing it as some sort of divine vengeance for the war in Gaza.
Their only concern with that conflict seems to have been that the “wrong” children were being killed.
Those trying to hide their moral equivocation by pontificating about international law are equally pitiful. Much of the reaction in Irish media and political circles last week has focused obsessively on whether this war clears that artificial bar."
Eilis O'Hanlon's article makes for excellent reading. While not supporting the war with Iran, she takes a large hatchet to the types of argument being deployed here. Those who are arguing about whether it was 10,000 or 33,000 women and children killed by their own regime should be ashamed of themselves. Those who are cheerleading Iran and hoping for Israel to be burned are despicable.
The silence from left-wing Ireland about the women and children killed this year by their own Government in Iran speaks volumes, especially when the hand-wringing and whinging resumed this weekend led by our President pitifully pontificating about international law.
