Texoil dropped prices by 60euro for 1000 litres since friday. Was 640 now 580 in Galway It's going to be cheaper in 2-3 weeks as crude oil dropped 23% on todays markets
Checked go click oil website and 3 others. They aren't accepting new orders.
Hi mate.I didnt call anyone and havent reveived email wich is good thing I believe 😂
My invoice shows Klass oil as well but if they wouldnt honour 480 they would contact me by now.I will let u know.Delivery is schedule for tomorrow
I ordered from Mr oil yesterday because I had a problem with the Certa online site it was €484 for 500L, looked just now €608 with warm10 discount code, some jump!
Just spoke with local supplier there to confirm delivery date. They said they've stopped taking orders since lunchtime today temporarily to allow them to catchup and process orders received since weekend.
What other factors are they? Glad to hear this new war won't have an impact on kero prices actually because I don't think the American dictator will stop anytime soon
Well that's not true like at all. 22 percent of global supply source is stuck sitting there.
The notion that this isn't having an immediate and visible impact on prices is laughable. It's also going to impact cost of food too.
red and lister, ye must have missed my smiley face :)
Had ordered 500L last week for delivery today at 470€ (ClickOil), looking at prices increasing ordered 500L more last night at same price for Friday delivery.
Price jumped to 530€ this morning, happy have full tank for now.
this week's increases are because of refining costs according to the expert on the thread
Timing just a coincidence then.
I had to argue my order I made yesterday with Klass as it went up by over 100 euro today, and they caved in.
And well they should as the same oil is in the tank in the yard that was in it on Friday, they're some shower of gougers. My local, "the only way is up" Mace garage haven't risen their prices yet, the owner must be away or something 😡😡, I checked RIP.ie but he isn't on it…
Did they contact u first?
I made the order and it wasn't accepted in their system, I didnt get an email confirmation of the order. I contacted them today as they took my money anyway this morning and after a bit of back and forth, they said they'd honour the order and deliver later this week.
I guess many companies backend order systems are completely scuffed with the massive price fluctuations and tried to drop it (and some companies have indeed shut them off…).
Thats my concern as well, but money has been taken last night straight away and have screenshots with order number etc but no email.Like I said in previous post I think they would contact me by now if there was an issue,so hopefully i get my delivery
I'm sure you'll be ok then as it sounds like you're in my boat too. There's no way (in my mind anyway :D) that they wouldn't honour it
Certas price is up €120 from yesterday on 750 litres of Oil
I see on my credit card the the amount is 'pending', possible due to the final amount of oil that will fit in the tank to complete the transaction. Would this be a concern that they may not honour the order?
Not sure, mine was pending til this afternoon. I made the order yesterday morning.
500 L gone up 100e since Saturday in Kerry to. 600e
Price increasing by the hour, good job I topped up last week, usually get caught out when theres a price rise.
I'm the same but so far it's still cheaper than June 2022
Jesus, I got 500 litres ordered yesterday for 489 in Clare. Another provider was 550.
I paid €924 for 1000L with certa last week including discount code
Tonight that same 1000L will cost you
Told the whole office 2 weeks ago to buy oil and now they're complaining about the prices
650 today in Gway from RightPrice Oil.180more than I paid on sunday.WTF 🤯
Price gouging rampant folks. Shop around. Prices started spiking yesterday on the markets but they would normally take a couple of weeks to start filtering to consumers. The government will do nothing of course.
All that being said, I expect the Straits to be cleared by the US latest by end of March. There's no way Iran can hold out longer than that. So short term pain on prices. I hope.
How did the oil in their tanks suddenly jump in prices. Should be a law against this type of stuff.
You know they had to send back that oil we have in stock on Friday from all the trucks and ports, get it refined on Saturday , you wouldn't believe how much they charge for refining at the weekend, and shipped back to us in Sunday for Monday morning deliveries.
Obviously there's a bit of panic buy at the moment and as this leads to demand going rapidly up, in just 2 days, prices will of course go up, is it price gauging, or just the market, you can decide, but it's not anything to do with the paragraph above.
Will it come back down when everyone has there orders in, or will they leave it there if people keep ordering?
