Reports stating that Israel have launched an attack against Iran
Assuming Iran haven't shot their proverbial load already.
Word on the street is that the Arab states, which are bearing the brunt of these Iranian attacks, are fully on board with regime change. This is key as they will not put pressure on the US to back down. They see the current regime remaining as a long-term threat to their economic models and want to slay the beast once and for all. If it takes a month or two, so be it; better that than leaving a wounded, angry regime in place to threaten them all again in years to come. Iran, winning eh?
Apparently, 400 missiles were shot in the first day, which was an incredible amount. Given they have about 2,000 that is 20% of their stockpile. Needless to say its not sustainable and according to reports, 50% of their launchers have now been taken out. You will see the capacity of Iran to respond with missiles degrade over time. Drones seem to be an issue still though but again, that infrastructure will be targeted as well. Next 2-3 days will tell alot.
So you are refusing to answer my question. It's bad faith posting. Ok I will bite to try and move you along.
I don't know why Iran enriched uranium to 60% but let me tell you - it takes a lot more than weapons grade uranium to build a viable nuclear weapon. Extreme precise engineering is required - advanced physics expertise, precision machinery, tight tolerances, sophisticated timing systems etc. Your leaving cert physics wont cut it.
Why did they do it? Here is my guess. They started enriching in 2021 as a response to Trump withdrawing from the 2015 nuclear deal (JCPOA). This deal was about limiting Iran's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. I presume Iran wanted to send a political message to pressure western powers to offer sanctions relief in exchange for Iran stopping the enrichment. Does that make sense to you? They wanted a bargaining chip - can you blame them? Their country has been crippled by sanctions. That's my guess. The recent negotiations on inspections were going very well from all accounts - why did Israel instruct USA to abandon them and go obliterating again.
By the way, does your beloved IDF have nukes? 😉
Now, quid pro quo, answer my question.
We will see regime change in US and Israel before Iran.
The US/Israel will not decide when it will end. Iran must be hoping for people uprisings in neighbouring countries to spook the US that they may have opened Pandora's box. The longer Iran can continue this, the more negative will be the impact for Trump.
Iran seems to have pressed the red 'nuclear' button. They are deliberately targeting oil facilities in Suadi, Qatar and elsewhere. An economic shock seems to be their only hope at the moment.
I don't know why Iran enriched uranium to 60%
Exactly, there are no non-military cases to enrich uranium to that level. None.
Anyone who thinks these 'airstrikes' are designed to make life better for ordinary Iranians is seriously deluded.
More bad faith posting. Please do not cut my posts down to one liners.
I gave you my considered opinion. Try answering a question for once in your life.
Open the window, maybe go for a walk as it's not raining and lay off the cool aid! The thought of Israel nuking Tehran at this moment in time is just ridiculous. They have seemingly unrivalled intelligence on their enemies, which makes the 7/7 attacks all that more inexplicable.
It's getting easier and easier to see why Trump was elected. Some people refuse to think for themselves.
They are celebrating the death of the Ayatollah.
As one of his most devoted followers on here, I take it that you are in mourning for the 60 days?
He wasn't in hiding, he was at home with his family and grandchildren.
Unless of course the Israel/US attack gets them to put their differences aside or gets downtrodden Shia to revolt in a Sunni dominated country.
I see Israel is still murdering civilians in Lebanon, never an idle moment for genocide lovers, are you celebrating?
Israeli jets have bombed Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, killing more than 30 people
Any proof that these were civilians, or Hezbollah ?
Sky reporting that the Americans have confirmed that three of their F15 jets were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defence this morning. All 6 pilots survived.
A costly blunder.
It appears most Iranians are supportive of these strikes.
Given you have admitted that you don't know why Iran possesses 500kg of Uranium enriched to 60%, all other points are moot. We all know that it was a stepping stone to enriching it to 90% to make a bomb.
You ignore their question about whether the IDF have nukes?
A few videos on un-social media have you deluded.
Yet more bad faith posting. Reply to my lengthy post please and argue the points I made. I think I made a fair stab of it. We can then discuss how you know more than the US Intelligence Community. When will you have the decency to start answering some of the questions I asked you? You keep deflecting.
Hardly a surprise.
This attack on Iran seems to be just disorganised chaos, with no allies consulted or players in the region forewarned to any great degree.
The loss of 3 F15s in one day is absolute epic failure.
Killing 30 terrorists is now genocide?
I know that people have widened the definition of genocide as much as they can but this is making a mockery of it. Next you tell me that the US killing Maduro's security contingent of goons, Cuban mercenaries and soldiers was also an act of genocide.
Genocide is a term that should not be thrown around loosely.
US military have confirmed three F-15's were shot down in Kuwait. Six aircrew survived.
Are you seriously pretending that you think the poster is calling the 30 dead in Lebanon genocide?
Why misrepresent what they said?
Did the US congress even give approval?
This type of nonsense its what makes these threads a cesspit.
"You are not cheerleading the US and Israel therefore you are in mouring for the Ayatollah"
Bullshit artistry of the highest form from poeple who cannot form a cogent and nuanced opinino themselves
I would hold a mirror up to those comments.
Because I am not condemning Israel in every single post on every single thread, I have been accused of supporting genocide. That is where the nonsense lies. It is not possible to dissent from the consensus around here.
