It’s not so simple as that. Based on reports, the prior panel was halted shortly after the teacher rep had acknowledged that (s)he would expect to follow any instruction from a principal. I would expect that he would have used that to challenge the panel as fundamentally flawed. However, unless the teacher rep was previously coached to provide vague answers, the answer given was the only one likely to be expected of anyone. This needs to be taken away from a lay panel and moved solely to the courts.
The courts have sent him to prison for the bones of two years and imposed a quarter million odd in penalties.
Not sure what more they can do.
Once fully sacked and off the payroll, it is likely that a criminal trespass conviction could be sought for him continuing to turn up.
Actual criminal records seem to scare the family. Nothing else does.

Will he continue to show up, personally I think the courts have given him too much slack.
Until he purges his contempt then he should stay in prison, and family members who continue to disrupt the court proceedings should be in there with him.
He won't. But if he did, he'd be instant sacked for gross misconduct again, and by feck is there plenty enough evidence for that.
Even if he somehow won a WRC appeal, reinstatement is not an option - he'd just get cash.
That’s why I think the DAP process cannot succeed without challenge. He’ll never find a teacher rep whom he doesn’t have an argument is biased or perceived to be biased. It is as you say utterly ironic.
Who is “they” though? He and his family have a much greater ability to disrupt the appeals panel, the WRC than would likely be the case beyond the High Court.
He'll probably win his dismissal appeal imo.

This commotion is a money maker for the family, I would hedge a big bet they are raking in donations from the yanks who have sympathy for their cause…I use "cause" very loosely there.

Assume the school have to pay their own bills, must be a fortune at this stage. How did Burke delay his dismissal for coming up to four years now and still no decision?

Is he not waiting for the decision of the boards of appeals re his dismissal. I think in his warped mind, he thinks he is still entitled to come to work while that decision is pending. Maybe his behaviour will change if and when the appeal is denied.
And if that mythical panel did exist, they’d still find against him and then they’d be accused of being corrupt and liars and unchristian. Completely oblivious to all the unchristian behaviour he and his family have lived for years. They’re all bullies. The last thing they are is followers of Christ.

In prison on September 1st, let him out when the school gets their summer holidays and if he goes back again following September do it again.
And take the onus of proceedings away from the school - must be costing them a fortune in legal fees at this stage.
He was locked up for 400 days from Sept 23 to June 24, and has spent nearly 600 days in total inside - that's more than long enough to see sense, he clearly just doesn't want to!
Are people still sending their kids to school there? I personally couldn’t have my kids attending that circus every morning.
Surely it’s time for a more lengthy sentence? Give the lad a chance to see sense. If he goes back after that, even longer sentence.
