Some mad videos emerging from Bondi beach in Sydney. Gun man opened fire. Seems to have been arrested from the videos I've seen, looks like multiple casualties.

There's no such thing as moral neutrality. Countries that are neutral are allowed (and expected) to have a position or opinion on world affairs. The neutrality refers only to them not getting involved in foreign wars, not to them offering no opinion.
It never stopped
He can run as often as he likes although he didn't fare too well last time if I recall with less than 2,000 votes.
Don't worry, I'm sure overnight the IDF will murder a few dozen Palestinians for the crime of being Palestinian to even the score.
It never ceases to amaze why some people are so stupid as to think supporting Palestinian statehood is the same as supporting Hamas. Or that strongly criticising Israel means promoting anti-Semitism. These are not the same things
No doubt.
He has every right to live here and express his opinions, this is a republic.
He can run again as an Independent in the next Bye/GE if he's so inclined and the voters are also free to either vote for him or not. It's called democracy.
But its true…Bibi could kill 50 tonight in a single strike and call it self defence and there would be next to no reaction.
Why is that? And why is stuff like "gas the Jews" "Globalise the intifada" or "From the River to the Sea" acceptable in Western discourse?
"Gas the Jews" is acceptable? Maybe in Nigel Farage's school it was, but I don't see anyone in any way respected in western discourse suggest that it is.
"Globalise the intifada" is possibly acceptable in my view, though I don't use it. It calls for the solidarity with oppressed Palestinians and that can be done, as it has been, in protests, boycotts and calls for international action. I don't have an issue with any of these. I don't agree that it is a call to violence.
Netanyahu, and his party has used the phrase "From the river to the sea" Do you think that that is acceptable? What do you think they mean by it?
There is no basis for you to suggest at least 2 of the 3 statements you listed are acceptable in western discourse, and probably the 3rd also. This sort of exaggeration is doing nothing to help anyone, Jewish people or otherwise.
To put into perspective October 7th was like today time's one hundred. You have to be very brave or stupid to have a public gathering as a Jew these days. The Intifada has been globalised.
I wonder what Alan Shatter thinks of Israeli politicians wearing these?

More killings in Gaza now I suspect.
I can't understand why Shatter lives here at at all he detests the country so much. It's probably an old playbook guff rant anyway.
And the weaponisation begins:
"Israel’s prime minister has accused the Australian government of “promoting and encouraging” anti-Semitism in the months leading up to the Bondi Beach terror attack."
Bondi Beach latest: Israeli fury over failure to stop terror shooting
"Former minister for justice Alan Shatter has described the shooting as an "anti-Semitic atrocity", and is "another warning of what anti-Semitic hate speech leads to".In a statement, Mr Shatter also claimed the Taoiseach and Tánaiste were "directly complicit" in what he called the Government's "unbalanced toxic rhetoric and conduct relating to the Israel-Gaza war" which he said has "contributed to escalating anti-Semitism in Ireland"."

More garda patrols at Jewish centres, events after attack
Never let an opportunity pass.
‘a drop in the ocean’. It’s hard to believe the stuff you read on here at times
He always does that and then answers with something that wasn't said at all.
I didn't say that. But you're trying to connect the actions of the Irish government and bloody RTE to the events of today. At least genocide in Gaza is a bit less of a stretch. Not that it makes what happened today in any way, shape or form, acceptable
That's the spirit old chap!
(It took me 3 mins to radicalise you. A PB for me 🫢)
No crusades needed, a couple of well placed nukes will do the job.
The only Democracy in the Middle East that won't allow the Free Press into Gaza to report what it is doing ?????
What a load of crap.
Don't hold back. Tell us why.
Your arguments are so nuanced. Bring back the Crusades and kill em all I say. What harm can come of it...
Israel, Palestine and that entire region can eat a dick tbh.
How do you know it was ok to anyone ? Source please.
Atrocious act of terrorism by the perpetrator's and thoughts are with the victims.
As for the rest of the drivel from the experts here, they've been fighting since long before your birth, and they'll remain fighting long after you're gone. Complete waste of this country's time and resources lecturing from the sidelines. You'd swear we're all set here.
No we're discussing the targeting of Australian Jews at a Jewish festival. And posters here have literally said it's understandable because Gaza.
But it's acceptable to make life harder and attack jews who have opinions you dont like? Its only if they're the "good" type of jew that they should be able to live in peace? That's what your post seems to be saying. This is a standard that doesnt apply to any other ethnicity. No one is going around asking Chinese or russian people to prove that they don't support the actions of their governments before deciding if they should be attacked or not are they? Not to mention that Israel is not the default government for Jewish people, who are citizens of various countries. What does an irish or Australian jew have to do with Netanyahu?
That happened when the Nazis genocided the Jewish people and it didn't work then nor will it now. Genocide must be called out.
Fair point.
But don't worry - during the ongoing 'War on Terror' the good guys have killed 1 million muslims directly and 4-5 million muslims indirectly (food/water insecurity, health service collapse etc) so we in the West are winning by a country mile. The surviving muslims in those countries have totally accepted that they were at fault and promised not to hold a grudge. They know the west acted in good faith and destroyed all the WMDs.
15 of the 19 hijackers in 9/11 were Saudis, I have been calling on the good guys in the west to wipe out all the bad muslims in Saudi Arabia but they won't listen. I am livid. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 but it was still a great murderous victory and the place is a bastion of democracy now. They are very happy to have been taught a lesson. Afghanistan was fixed too. We in the west should be proud of our work there.
I bet if them lads were allowed to have a pint they wouldn't be so angry
Ah will you quit spoiling their buzz. I notice none of them thanked your post but I know why.
