They should execute any commanding officer who orders these. It has happened before and it will happen again, all to serve some idiot's self-esteem.
The fog of war have been unreal the last seven or eight days.
Someone is obviously leaking the times and locations.
Not necessarily, it's also entirely obvious for a war where drone surveillance by both sides is almost constant.
We've seen it from Russians too, large gatherings of troops always get detected no matter how far from the front you are.
Casualty exchange ratios in Pokrovsk might have been favourable at one point, but it's not now. The city is under semi-encirclement, logistical lines are getting hammered, men inside the city are engaged in brutal street fighting.
Where do you source your up to date casualty exchange ratios from?
A report from the Ukraine side claims that they continue to counter attack and relieve pressure from putin's terrorists in the area.
Also reports of the "Sivash" offshore drilling platform in the Black sea occupied by putin's terrorists has been hit by successful drone strikes by the armed forces of Ukraine:

Nice to see
For training and drills it's forgivable but not awards ceremonies.
Now I want to go watch that movie again :P
He is just as evil and as bad as Putin so ye I do hope Putin takes him out because it will just go to show how deluded Putin is and then there is more chance of the next person betraying Putin. Also this is what happened to Hitler. He did not listen to his generals when they told him he was crazy to attack Russia and he done it anyway and it ultimately cost Germany the war.
Strange how all these fires break out in Russia.......
Looks like someone is looking for a scapegoat going by Zelensky's statement yesterday. A prime example is Pokrovsk where Russian troops are filmed freely walking around the north east of the city and in the north west pushed out of the city altogether to the nearest town, yet the info space is that everything is not so bad and tens of thousands of orcs are being mowed down.
Multiple complaints by those coming out about the misinformation being spread, they sound totally sick of it. The gap to escape now has narrowed dramatically. Less than 1km according to some, but probably just lies.
A few more comments from the statement which paints a rosier picture than some. It seems Kupyansk will be mopped up in the near future as only 60 Russians remain there. Presumably a few more tens of thousands have been mowed down and thousands injured.
Yes, you summarise very well what SHOULD happen, but there are no indications so far that it will happen. I actually think the US and China are quite happy for this war to continue: both gain from a weakened Russia and both probably feel that the other country is distracted by the war. And the EU, as always, is divided and weak and ineffectual. I can't believe how many people on this thread still keep saying Russia is under extreme pressure and can't maintain this forever while ignoring that Ukraine is in an even worse position in terms of manpower, energy, money. Both countries are in a desperate position.
And yes, Putin is an absolute scumbag of the highest order who deserves a fate like Gaddafi
Fully agree - hence my worry that outside pressure (via TACO) may be brought to bear on Ukraine to agree unpalatable ceasefire terms if they're having too much success.
As you say though, Ukraine can't sit on their hands and have to pick a strategy. This is their best one as far as I can tell.
Why would anyone take anything you post seriously when - for the benefit of those just tuning in - you actively excuse the rape of civilians by invading forces and the deliberate targeting of schools for missile strikes?
Nobody would. There's providing a balanced view of war and then there's just supporting war crimes.
So if anyone has any sense, give this poster a wide berth. There are other sceptical posters on the last couple of pages who are more than capable of reporting bad news, so this thread is far from an echo chamber these days. You don't need the proven misinformation fed by the poster I'm quoting.
Ah! Good! "Orks!" Хорошая работа, товарищ!
This way they'll think you're not pro-Russia. Very good.
Now, for the gold: Can you explain to them why it's ok to support the "Orks" while they bomb children in their homes, and hospital beds? Go on! For the Motherland!
Good strike on petrochemical plant inside Russia last night confirm by BBC. Wonder how long it takes to repair such things? Guess it could be anything from days to weeks?
Russian view on the world:
Supplying weapons to Ukraine by the West = bad
Supplying weapons to Venezuela by Russia = good
What if the country is a narco state?
I dont support an invasion necessarily, but it dont think its irrelevant that Venezuela is a dictatorship.
These guys on Youtube are good for a short chuckle every now and again
I wonder how Trump can square that circle !
Or maybe he'll maybe a call form Putin and TACO it out, he'll say that the Venezuelan regime are the great bunch of lads after all.
This thread isn't a therapy session. Some of us want to engage with reality.
Also, applying Vatnik/ deluded Western lefty view of the world - Russian provocation has now given the US the green light to legitimately invade Venezuela.
Recommended, very strongly!
When did the US and it's allies ever need a green light to illegally attack countries ? Plenty of precedents before this conflict but people don't like to hear about them do they ?
Read my post for god's sake and stop asking questions that have nothing to do with the point made. It's not that hard to follow. And stop with the straw man arguments and deflection as usual.
Oooo engagement! Yay! Now my turn!
When did the Russian Federation ever need a green light to bomb and kill civilians, including children? Unless of-course….you have an argument? For that?
Wanna try to talk from some kind of moral high ground when your soapbox is made of….*that*?
Very informative analysis describing the current situation by one of the more realistic commentators currently. Various topics and analysis ranging from Pokrovsk, discrepancies in monthly gains, difference in current frontlines reported by various channels and how funding is going to be provided to Ukraine in the coming months by European states.
