Rewind to the jobs reports when Biden was president and the MAGA crowd were saying the extra jobs were Americans having to take a second job to make things meet. Guess we see that now with native born! Those crops won't pick themselves.

It is meaningless. The whole point of these submarines when on duty and not being maintained or upgraded etc. is to be hidden and always ready to strike.

They ensure any country attacking the US cannot escape a nuclear retaliation even if they successfully attack important sites in the US and cripple the political/military leadership or damage other parts of their nuclear deterrent.

They shouldn't require some special order from Trump to to be positioned to do it, it is their purpose + whole point of the US having them.

As said before, Trump has a few good cheat codes in his pocket for trying to bully his way with US allies - the giant US economy + consumer market that they are hooked into, and the US military + MIC. It should be quite easy for a back stabber who has massive leverage over you due to you putting your trust in them in the past to get concessions by threatening to use it.

He hasn't been handling the USs enemies successfully, far from it. The US has far less leverage there than with allies. Russia has alternately flattered him and then mocked him; we're IMO much further from peace in Ukraine than under the Biden admin. China just immediately matched his trade threats with their own counter threats, and Trump edged away from the brink of a trade war quickly. He's gone quiet on "Chyna" now. I think he recently cancelled some Biden admin. restrictions on China's import of GPUs that are used to train extremely large AI models, an odd move if China is the main threat (and economic/military rival) to the US etc.

How does Trump get away with blatant lying? Today he said there was a 818,000 jobs correction downwards after the November 2024 election and that figures had been manipulated to help Biden. In actual fact, the jobs correction took place on 21st August 2024. This is easily checked.

Today, Trump ordered the firing of the Commissioner of the Bureau of Labour Statistics accusing her, without any evidence, of manipulating data to make him look bad. Imagine if that happened in this country. Martin rightly would have to resign immediately and be castigated for his actionss. How does the media in the US let him away with this. Truth no longer exists in the US
