Reports stating that Israel have launched an attack against Iran
Iraq being in the middle of Iran and Israel makes invasion a bit difficult. Much easier to fund the terrorist groups on Israels borders who'll happily invade and butcher every Israeli they meet, including fun loving concert goers and babies.
Have not not been watching the news over the last few years with Iranian sponsored attacks on Israel being reported on fairly regularly..and you're calling Israel's response "unprovoked".
Maybe you've been watching different news channels to me.
Theres a general hatred of the regime by the population who see them as nothing but Arab invaders. We could see it falling one of these days
Like the Americans fund the terrorist Israelis to kill/starve every Gazan they meet including kids, burning them alive in make shift tents and shooting them in head while they walk down the street or spraying a car with bullets with a child in it and the ambulance workers.
You really need to remember why this war started and by who and just to give you a hint…it wasn't the Israelis.
But who else would they attack, and for what reason, or be attacked by? No other country in the region is remotely interested in attacking or blatantly undermining Israel like Iran does.
Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq….none of these countries have any interest in war with Israel.
We know Israel has defeated numerically superior and, relative to the time, pretty well equipped Arab coalitions repeatedly until eventually, pretty much all of those countries accepted they would never win, gave up on war, and made some form of peace.
Obviously Israel has a set of goals after Oct 7th, and not commenting whatsoever on, or endorsing, how they're going about them, but it's broadly the dismantling/crippling of Iran-backed Hamas and Hezbollah and then dealing mortal blows to the head of the snake, which is Iran.
I'm sure you can add land grabbing in there too when it comes to Palestine, not here to defend anything Israel does. Very few countries, or regimes, ever start wars for the pure sake of it though, there's usually a war aim, and Israel has them too.
It's not "let's start a war today to satisfy our blood lust".
In my complete humble opinion the best thing Hamas could do is just surrender unconditionally and accept they rolled the high-stakes dice and it came up snake eyes. Strip away any justification Israel has for doing what's it doing, and see what happens.
Surely it would be a better strategy and a better chance for Palestine's longer term future than "We're willing to let every man, woman, child and animal die in Palestine before we surrender".
The reality is they wrote a blank cheque for Israel when they launched Oct 7th and their strategic goal completely failed.
I have zero sympathy for Iran. They sabre rattled for decades, supplied Hamas and Hezbollah, and they too are reaping what they sowed. Everything they've built over those decades is now in ruins, but I am not going to paint Israel as the big bad for that either.
There are no good guys here. Just a load of actors who all share a blame in the current mess.

Youre obviously talking about Hamas - well Hamas are utterly defeated. There was no point in Israel attacking Iran - so it was completely unprovoked.
You also fail to mention US sponsored genocide happening in Gaza.

I think the genocide charge is still with the courts and has not been decided on so it's a case of "alleged genocide" and it's innocent until proven guilty.
The desire of the nations around Israel to wipe it off the face of the map has been there since Israel's return to their homeland. Just look at the 6 day war. Funnily enough Israel won that one as well.
Tell us this. If you saw a woman being raped, would you act to stop it or wait for the court case and guilty verdict? War crime convictions can often take a decade. Don't you think we should all in our power to at least stop the obvious wrongdoings in Gaza?

The solution is very simple. Hamas who have no love for the Gazan citizens need to surrender. Until then collateral damage is the inevitable result of the war.

The most advanced air defense systems in the world can't guarantee interceptions of every missile attack.
They said they’ve shot down two Israeli jets. Whether that’s true or not who knows.

I asked Brickster specifically about the "hypersonics" he mentioned as a first wave. I want to know why air defences cannot down them specifically. If you don't know, let him answer. I was led to believe the Iranian rockets were old and obsolete @brickster69
If it's true they will display the wreckage and pilot fairly shortly.
