Had to be sure. Forgot to stream and pause it before I left the workplace for about an hour this morning. Although I'd be nowhere near as annoyed at missing it in its new format compared to the old one.
They're really dragging out this silly phrases in the Dermot Kenneddy interview bit. Very cringey.
The stupidest thing is that it was a prerecorded interview and they're talking about it now after the fact as if it hasn't happened.

I have to laugh every time I hear the ad for today fm's new music show and it's a song that 2fm have been playing for months.
She calls it "the music you're going to love" but I'm already sick of it.
It's Claire Beck doing those ads. I really, really miss her Saturday night show.
For the past week or so I’ve unexpectedly been commuting late in the evening/night and I’ve had Today FM on in the car. I rarely hear the radio in the evenings and this has been an unexpected pleasure, it’s really like a completely different station after 9pm! Great music, really chilled out, good stuff, no cash machines or inane banter, just relaxed and easy to listen to. Wish they could do more of it.
Who was playing?
Their show times are confusing, is TodayFM90s (with Claire Beck) on now from 10pm to 12pm every night Mon to Thu?

They haven't updated the schedule online - it's Chillout on Monday, Soundtracks/Musicals on Tuesdays, Country on Wednesday, 90s on Thursday (the only one Claire Beck hosts), then 80s on Friday.

Ah right, the website had me totally confused. Seems odd that they wouldn't fix it. Who does the 7 to 10 slot, is it McSweeney?
It's terrible that they can't even update their website to promote these shows. As @JoeA3 above said, they're enjoyable and a nice break from the usual playlist.
Don't listen between 7 and 10pm so can't answer that I'm afraid.

I can’t remember her name now, I think lastnight’s show was “the chillout show” or whatever they call it. It was the perfect tonic to what was a very long day. I also heard Quilty doing his soundtracks show on a previous night, equally very good. The presenters themselves sound like they enjoy the little bit of playlist freedom too.
Ciara Revins does the Monday chillout show. i enjoy the show but I admit I find her breathy voice a bit annoying. It's all put on of course for the chillout show, but it sounds at times like she's doing a Cadbury's Caramel Bunny impersonation.
It's actually a bit bizarre what they've done. They'd one of the most popular DJs around - Ed Smith - who had a really popular show. They crippled the show by making him use a generic rock playlist (Today FM Rocks), and when he eventually walked, they go "Hmm, let's put out some shows instead that aren't algorithm-generated!"
Joker 2 was a flop, both in the cinema and on home release. For the love of God, Today FM please stop playing Die with a Smile.

Major issue with the Cash Machine. Those of you who occasionally enter will see the confirmation text, and an invitation to enter again:

Well, for the massive 251k jackpot and afterwards as far as I've seen, it was this:

And I did, and I got six entries, and the text confirmed I had six entries for the price of €5.00. Alas I did not win. However I've entered since then, and again I've got the text saying I can enter again and get 5 for the price of 1.
The problem with this, then, is you're going to get a lot of people who, time after time, will say "Oooh!" and see €€€ in their eyes and splash out every single time. And then with so many extra people buying six entries instead of just one, buying just the one suddenly isn't going to provide anywhere near the already small probability of winning that it was before the recent record jackpot. Buying a single entry has become massively devalued. It seems you need to either spend €5 or not waste your money.
