WTF?! I read that five times to be sure I got it right😮
What was he going to do, stand there fighting?
It was highly sarcastic.
Thats what Zelemsky did, remember? I don't need a ride, I need ammo..and so he stood his ground. So yes if Putin was even half the man Zelensky is, and the hero he is portrayed to be by the Kremlin Propaganda department,,he would have stood his ground and lead by example. But like everything else in the Kremlin, Putin is a fake. He was surrounded by a detachment of his personal elite guards unit, but he still ran.
Zelensky has, spent the majority of this war in Israel.
You have a bit more information on that?
That's why the tough man persona he puts out is so ridiculous, with his carefully staged photos and highly controlled public appearances. The guy lives in constant fear of all the things that might happen to him because he's spent his entire adult life doing the same **** to others. I'm baffled how people are fooled into thinking Putin is an example of an alpha male. Same goes for Trump.
Feels like we have a new entry on the Ukraine bingo card.
But, but, but....Russia declared victory in Kursk???
Lol
You have described Putin and Trump to a T.
One day, hopefully not too far in the future and on the back of a Russian defeat, we'll get a book or documentary series outlining all of the stupid & cowardly nonsense that Putin has been up to during these years. It will no doubt be facinating.
Here's his source
I like the one on Putin bare back riding a ‘WILD STALLON’
Well, if one insists on relocating all of one's air-defence to Moscow for the sake of a vanity parade … :p
Last night, I was speaking to a former Russian colleague, university educated with a degree, so not someone you would think to be easily swayed by Kremlin Propaganda. Wrong!100% believing in her hero, Putin, hates the Ukrainian Nazi Khokhols, and wants to see them eliminated from the earth. Blames NATO and western sanctions for all the problems facing Russians……everything! Inflation, Gas prices, they started the war, (which Russia is winning) destruction of city's infrastructure etc, etc. If the blame cannot be shifted abroad, then it Putin's administration is responsible, but never Putin himself. So I listen to her without argument, because she may be 100% well aware of what the true position is, but cannot say in a conversation with a foreigner (or indeed with another Russian) I'm equally sure that many Russians know full well what's going on, but are afraid to speak out.
Ukraine “we’re really going to fck up Moscow and the parade, you’ll see.”
Russia panics. Meanwhile Kursk bridge gets upgraded to a reef.
So different perspectives lead to different points of view. Could she not equally say you shouldn't be the type to be swayed by western propaganda?
Yes! The wonders of Photoshop….I saw a clip of Putin horse riding, but in a riding school, surrounded on both sides by professional Lady horse trainers, who made sure that Putin would come to no harm..And that about sums him up, Ditto the Judo clip, where he demolishes a heavier opponent. And the ice hockey match..where an unedited version shows him during the victory lap hitting a patch where there was no ice, and crashing to the ground.
No is my reply to your question since there is actually a free press outside of the russian federation and it is quite clear that the pro putin moskovytes constantly lie. I'm not saying a pro Ukrainian slant is not put on a lot of media coverage of the invasion of their country by putin's terrorists but I think there is a lot more credibility to the reporting of the conflict in western media. You really have to twist reality to come round to putin's view on this war.
You mean different forced types of propaganda. Difference is, i'm from the west, but have lived for several years in Russia (amongst other places, several other places in fact) and so have the benefit of expetriencing both Russian and Western lifestyles. Russians are forced to live and think as Putin decrees, and not given access to western culture and freedom. Of course, there have been thousands of Russians who have and are still living in the west /US etc. And should and do know whats going on in the world, but how many act on that? Even here in Ireland, you have Russians celebrating Russian event's and many will celebrate May 8/9th, and no doubt, some will carry banners of Putin beside the Russian Flag. No one will be carryinga banner's that read " death to Putin"
Strange then that BBC were reporting to the same tune as the "Russian propaganda" 10 years ago. You can still find some of their reports.
Likewise, I've spent a decent amount of time in Russia,. What part of western culture do they not have access to?, Having lived there, you'll know then that Russians on general have a very different mindset, they don't in general want or live to what you call "western freedom" above EVERYTHING is the protection of the "Motherland", so whether it's Putin or someone else, they seem to want to live in that sphere.
@jmreire s viewpoint is not murdering, raping, looting, torturing people and destroying whole cities
Russian neo fascist “viewpoint” marching on donkeys under that Zwastika is doing just that
Your attempt at both siding absolute scumbaggery has fallen flat out the gate
That first part, you could use that viewpoint in relation to America. Depends on the perspective.
Well I sure didn’t have “whataboutism” on my bingo card today /s
🙄
Typical response.
I had the same experience recently except this guy claimed over 10k Ukrainians were dying every day for zelenski's war. I just nodded and tried to get the conversation back to football ASAP. Couldn't believe what I was hearing.
The holy Trinity is now complete?
It is a fairly sick perspective to try to excuse the war crimes of putin's terrorists against the people of Ukraine by simply saying what about America.
Its simply to show perspective on what "western values and freedoms" mean.
