Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Anyone else have any luck in ballot for fontaines dc?
Nope. It was a long shot anyway.
Yeah. Must have been based on the prodigious amount of Guinness I drink!
Anyone hear any whispers of who the secret headliner is at The Grand Social tomorrow night? May bother my arse if it's someone I'm into.
My buddy got 2
i got two tickets
as I said a few weeks back. Fontaines at Boucher on EP Friday
Working with MCD unsurprisingly
only promoter with a big field and a stage available at end of august.
Do you think they are EP Sunday's missing headliner? Even with ATN in mind?
When do we hear about Marlay/Malahide?
nah. Very likely for EP 2026 though
for Fontaines? They ain’t playing either. ATN is only Irish republic summer show (that’s not a corporate event).
You said that ATN was an Irish exclusive. They're now doing this Belfast gig alongside the Dublin one at the Storehouse. Forget the regional booking thing, Dublin is closer to Belfast than Curraghmore and people will travel in numbers from the Republic.
Anyway, I'm hoping for a Marlay set and I think pretty likely the same weekend as Boucher Fields. No point discussing it endlessly (I'll not post again on it) and we'll see in time.
Too late for any more shows there I would imagine.
Marlay license for concerts only goes until the start of July, looks unlikely for this year
still 2 more marlay to be announced. mcd put in application for 7 nights. Only 5 nights announced so far between rodrigo, kahan, Chris brown and longitude
“Tuesday 24th June, Saturday 28th June, Tuesday 1st July, Saturday 5th July, Sunday 6th July and two more concerts to be confirmed between 24th June and 10th July 2025 inclusive”
They’ll end up doing the Aviva on the next cycle
You didn't! You said you knew who was playing but you refused to say who it was.
He did..
Eventually! A few weeks before that he was bullshitting that he knew who it was but wouldn't say who it was.
No, he replied with a post pretty explicitly hinting that it was Fontaines by naming several of their songs. You just didn't understand it.
Good evening everyone.
A question for the frequent concert goers:
I have a gig at the Grand Social next week and haven't been there in years. Is the venue the one up the stairs?
Yep.
Probably, but they do have a second stage downstairs, can probably accommodate 50-60
More doucebag anniversaries
SFSH Artists.
bit dull. Same old bedrock of acts and nothing jumping out as a must see
nice selection, they will add more i’d guess including Matt Berninger, i am particularly looking forward to seeing Jon Hopkins, he’s currently involved in this rather incredible Polygon - Spatial Audio experience, while this setup is unlikely to make it to SFASH

Saw them two years ago in the Academy and they were brilliant to be fair.
