And what about maintaining/ increasing the sanctions by. The US. There is no mention about this re the US pulling out if negotiations fail. Did Trump not say away back that if Russia do not agree to a ceasefire/ to stop the killing that he would have no option but to support Ukr or something along those lines?

While the AFU are having good success in eliminating these assaults I've also seen footage that the motorbike groups can have moderate success in overcoming defensive lines. Seems drones have trouble hitting them.
The new line as articulated by Rubio seems to be "a plague on both your houses." The problem is if that plays out as would be expected the consequences would be far more severe for Ukraine…

In an update on Telegram, the Kremlin says the temporary ceasefire will last from 6pm today (4pm UK time) until Monday. Vladimir Putin said he assumes Ukraine will follow its example.

The bag of spuds were good enough for occupants of the Republics, but as the Russian death toll mounted, Putin was forced to search for manpower closer to home, Moscow and St Petersburg,something that he has always avoided. So he had to make joining the military more attarctive, this he did by raising the salaries and better death benefits for the families for contract soldiers. Something that enterprising Russian ladies have taken advantage of!! Only for Iran, China and Nth Korea, Putin would have been finished quite awhile ago.

Ukrainian Refugees who aren't already in gainful employment should be given the opportunity to work in factories building drones etc. all over Europe. If they can't help the war effort at home then they should be able to do it here and elsewhere.
