Sorry but 2020 was not presented early. It was after last home game of season in empty Anfield after 5-3 win against Chelsea on 22 July so I don't know where you're getting your info off or how you think it was a one off.
I find it hard to get remotely exercised about the Balon d'Or. It's a bit like the Eurovision for me - continental Europeans love it but it means nothing other than something to put on your CV or your Insta feed and the latter seems to matter more these days.
The award is summed up for me by Madrid's reaction to Vini Jr not winning it last year so they all threw their toys out of the pram and no one attended. Jesus, I hope Arsenal go through tonight.

Should Trent play for us again this season? What's the point if he is not playing for us next season? We have 6 games for Bradley to get valuable game time and go up against players like Neto and Martinelli that he would meet again next season. We can give Trent the last game as a thank you but I don't see the point in bringing him back. He's made his choice and we need to move on.
If Bradley is fit, he has to start. Trent can be a useful sub for the remainder of the season

Might be in a minority but I was too young to remember 1989 so I do not carry those scars with Arsenal. My foundational memories are they were the team to stop United winning titles so I do not have a hatred of them like I do for United, City or Chelsea. If they win, good for them, they were 2nd or even 4rd best this year in the league and that is where you are measured over 38 games, not a luck of the draw knockout tournament. Still would have been nice to be in their position.
I'd be the same, they'd be below UTD, City and Chelsea for me too. I wouldn't begrudge them a European title at all. I certainly like to seem them win it over Barca!!

Regarding Arsenal, my gripe with them is Arteta and their whinging. Still prefer to see them win over Man Utd, City, Chelsea.
Why not, no standout player this season, Mbappe , Vinicius Junior, not at the races this season, unlikely to even win a trophy. Winning the European Golden Shoe would help Salah, to be top scorer in Europe, PL, and winning PL could do it… if no one else does something magical before end of season. Salah needs to get back scoring , Leicester a good place to shart
It shouldn't be winning your league or CL as the criteria for Balon D'or but I would argue that as a player you need to consistently be at the very top of your game and "turn up" for every game in the season. Salah hasn't done that this season in the CL later stages and he has been off the boil in PL for a while now. It is strange that there are no other PL players truthfully in the running. From the supposedly "greatest league in the world".
Raphinha, has turned up and played well all season in league and CL and surely would be ahead of him. I can see Barca putting forward Yamal ahead of him.
Dembele at PSG must surely believe he is in with a good shout also but I would think he is in a similar position to Salah. He can go missing in games.

re: TAA ....good luck to him in Madrid, he's given a lot to Liverpool so don't begrudge him trying something new.
