Hang on a second, can you envision Chinese soldiers firing on Russian soldiers under any circumstance?
Also, looking at history, British soldiers were originally brought in to NI to protect Catholic areas.
What is designed/signed up to and what actually happens can be very different things. Chinese soldiers and equipment perched inside Europe will never be a good thing. If that actually happens maybe Putin is a master strategist after all.
Hmmm….somethings rotten in the State of Dongfeng.
Could be helpful…could be something else. Beijing practically never does anything out of the kindness of their hearts. They have an angle here. Turkey have a geopolitical stake in keeping a lid on Russia, but China dont really need to in this way. This might be a play to get the Russians to do something extra for them. Beijing already have a cr*p-tonne of leverage on Moscow, so its hard to guess what that could be though.
Probably just a Chinese provocation for Trump - it’s not as if he hasn’t embarrassed himself so much all ready with his fan boy love in with Putin. Looks like the Chinese are low key pushing him even further into this rabbit hole of disgrace.
Trump has been thoroughly humiliated and cucked by Putin
If China steals his Nobel peace price he be doing backflips
The negations/peace plan doesn't stand any chance with Steve Witkoff in the room, hand selected by putin for his lack of knowledge and experience.
If China actually got a Peace Prize for this (which they really dont deserve either) I would be laughing my head off for hours. Donnie would be so upset.
Chinese peacekeepers in Ukraine is equivalent to putting NATO peacekeepers in belgorod. The Chinese have a partnership without limits with Russia, they would essentially be an allied occupying force, not peacekeepers.
China will probably be given construction rights to build up parts in eastern Ukraine as well. So probably a win win they see it.
Well, there isn't a chance of getting a deal that is remotely fair to Ukraine but neither Russia nor the US care about that. It will be rammed down Ukrainian throats and I don't they will have much of a choice other than to accept it.
Not seeing anything about Chinese peacekeeper roll in Asian media so I reckon it's a "what if" story to goad Trump into not losing out by getting behind Ukraine rather than Russia.
All hinges on the security guarantee IMO. If that looks to be solid Zelensky will probably everything else - Russia keeping most/all seized land, NATO membership ruled out etc. If it's not then Ukraine likely fights on cos the overall deal is worthless…
That Steve Witkoff interview beggars belief. Putin himself couldn't have scripted a less credible discussion.
It feels like we're in an alternate reality.
Meanwhile in Russia, 2 women working for the military, married 2 guys being sent off to the war, and once there, their commanding officer quickly dispatched them with a bullet to the head, and he and the 2 ‘widows’ shared out the payments for losing a husband in the war…
and people still comically believe Russia can be reasoned with..
They really are a despicable sick nation!
Another Russian jet down?
Oh it gets worse, deliberately targeting civilians working on a roof with a drone and then bragging online about the war crime
putin's terrorist state pushed back a bit in the Luhansk region of Ukraine.

Behold, sire - a shrubbery.
Yeahbut … the tentative ceasefire agreement only applied to energy infrastructure, so targetting regular roofers on a civilian building is grand.
Meanwhile something has exploded again at the Kavkazskaya pumping station, the third time since being hit five days ago. However it was configured, and whatever Ukraine used to hit it, it doesn't look like there'll be much oil flowing to any export markets through there for quite some time.
Will we see hits on other pumping stations over the coming weeks? It'd be a terrible shame if Orban and Fico couldn't get any Russian gas or oil, even if it had to be delivered the long way 'round.
In any other era, Zalensky would have been welcomed into the White House as a hero instead of being rebuked for not wearing a suit and only thanking the US 197 times. Witkoff's interview was despicable. He is a billionaire estate agent golf buddy of Trump with no diplomatic background. The US should be ashamed
And possibly 4 helis, not confirmed yet
And UAF still advancing in Belgorod
I had thought that The Abrams tanks Australia was sending would have been there at least a month or so ago,but apparently not.
The link provides some interesting details that seem to require a bit of reading between the lines. Looks like the yanks are being deliberately unhelpful towards Ukraine.Just following orders,no doubt. Cop the yank trying to talk Australia out of sending the tanks. I'd love to hear what the Ukrainians think of that. Yeah, I'm sure the Ukrainians will just park the tanks up and not put them to use because using them is too difficult - Jesus!
Speaking of helis, Portugal was recently very helpful in handing over 8 Puma helos:
Ffs Witkoff’s grandparents were both Russian. Ukraine have no hope
They were using drones to chase kids in a playground the other day. Making peace with these barbarians is just lunacy. If they're not subdued now, we'll all suffer.
@Homelander "It feels like we're in an alternate reality."
We are.
But where are the goatees 😄
Combined with the Ukrainian advances in Luhansk and the downing of the orc jet and four choppers, it's been a good weekend for Ukraine.
Meanwhile the orc advances have ground to a complete halt in the last few weeks.
It's the weird hairdo reality:
