Finally happened. Wonder will we still get same bargains as UK site??
Ohh im aware of that nonsense i more meant being able to buy brands you know and can check reliability for a reasonable price
TonightVMTV!
It was, yes. I almost bought it. Sorry I held off now.
I normally bulk buy coffee. Amazon.de is my go to since Brexit. I priced Lavazza Rosso ground coffee 250g x 10 packets on .ie. €100 incl delivery. On .de same order, €53.53 incl delivery. That will do. Thanks.
and yet 6 tins of Kenco were showing at €670 +100 delivery!
Plenty of clips on 'Xitter' of TonightVMTV segment on Amazon.ie. More about it on the group chat later!
^^ Due to my personal security settings could someone confirm that the above embed?
Sorry mods forgot to comment here on it, but will paste my comment from other thread!
sorry, €392 only, but now with free delivery….😯
Does she not realise people in Ireland have been using Amazon UK for years, book shops have died a death years ago
Thanks for confirming the clip loaded. But your point was raised in the show as well. Amazon has been active in Ireland for years!
Just for fun
Shows how some customers can spot a good deal😉
Amazon.ie have a limited time deal on 100 push pins @ € 5.06.
Same item 200 push pins is €4.74
Amazongly the deal is 33% claimed

They really haven't Dubray and Easons in Dundrum are regularly packed whenever I walk past them
No, I haven't switched to .keep my account is co.uk
There are some bargains on .ie but hopefully an improvement in the overall offering soon. Wont be giving up my .co.uk student prime any time soon or until its mandatory to move.
yea cause they were all queuing up in there to buy their kindle editions
www.coffeerista.com , if you don't know about that site already!
Dam they moved me without asking. When prompted I made sure to decline that I wanted to move my prime UK to .ie, I have a 3 month £4.49 prime uk subscription offer so I wanted to keep that and use the 30 day free trial.
Signed up for the trial, no mention of moving my subscription over this time. I wanted to try both for 30 days and see which I preferred. Low and behold email comes in saying you've successfully migrated your prime plan 🥴🙄.
Thats dirt. Thanks for the warning.
I know it's only the first week but the delivery times are terrible on .ie = Kids headphones from .UK will be her Saturday and .IE next Wednesday, how is that possible?
Suggested solution for others whishing to have both Prime accounts! Is to create a new separate account on amazon.ie then doing both on your .co.uk account!
@iHungry Did you get back on to Amazon and see if they can resolve that mistake on their part!
Yes I'm just out of a chat with them now. They replied with, "If you like to move back to Amazon UK you can reactivate the prime in Amazon UK once free trial ends in Amazon.ie. Will that be fine?" I swiftly exited the chat! 🥲
The .uk site could be coming from the UK while the .ie site could be coming from somewhere else deeper within the EU?
Easons and O'Mahonies in Limerick much the same. I suspect it is because they are cheaper for most books than amazon.ie
First order on the Irish site has a delivery date of May 6th, After a chat with them it's a system mistake because it's a new site and it will be here before April 7th! A few bars of chocolate and a few other grocery items all marked as sold and dispatched from the Irish site. After leaving negative feedback it gave me an option to click a link to email them about the issue and this showed up.
Looking for something? We're sorry. The Web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site.
Go to Amazon.ie's Home Page
No no no ;-) Its people checking out books they are thinking of buying on Amazon.
I ordered a firestick on .ie on Tuesday. Promised delivery was Saturday. If I wanted to pay €4.99 extra they would deliver on Friday. I declined.
It arrived today 🤣
Funny I was in Derry recently looking for a bottle of furniture cleaner. £25 they wanted for it. Straight onto Amazon while looking the shop. Ordered for £10.
i stupidly signed up for the Irish one not realizing it would switch my prime over
got on to chat earlier to tell them I wanted to change back ( I have UK addresses for Family that I send to as well as my Irish one)
I was told to do it through the site but that i still have my months free Irish trial yet so I'll wait till I'm actually looking for something
just looked up a pair of Bluetooth headphones I already own that are on sale on the UK site on the Irish site just to compare.. price is much the same but the UK ones would be delivered in a few days.. the Irish one has delivery down as SEPTEMBER!!!
Edit
Thanks…. I did not know that!!!
not sure if this was posted but there is €10 off €50 of you buy on Irish Amazon site. BTW. Would anyone know why my prime account which I have on Amazon.uk does not transfer to Amazon.ie ?? Thanks
