It seems a false headline news claim was printed in a publishment bearing the title Irish News to the effect that the Burkes had been granted asylum over religious persecution by Trump. The Journal.ie did a fact check on the report which debunked it, proving it to be somewhat along the lines of the spin the Burkes keep putting out about the reason EB has been a guest of the nation in Mountjoy. Ah well, another hope dashed.

ECHR will tell you to GTFO unless you have exhausted all your legal options in your home country. Burkes haven't even allowed the appeal tribunal to happen, next step after that would be High Court. So in terms of actually challenging his dismissal, as opposed to whinging about it, they're still not at the starting gates

I seem to recall that the nasty public attacks on coroners, judges, policitians only target the same person once. If that conduct was repeated, even in a public place, it could construe harassment. They generally go as far as they can get away with but not more (assaulting a garda aside)
