I’m long enough in the tooth to know the difference between a bit of ribbing and abuse. The sh1t that was hurled that day was nasty.
I'd believe it, the **** I've have thrown at me at the RDS and the Aviva (twice at Ireland games) would make me believe it happens.
After one SF in the RDS I approached twice by the same group where amongst other crap they threw at me and my family they wished that Len Dineen would die in his sleep that night. Len, for those that might not know was a bit of a local legend in Limerick, he worked as a sports commentator on the local radio station in Limerick. It was announced earlier that day that he was retiring from his sports work. Now, a more biased commentator you might not find but was there need for fans to say what they did about him.
After an Irish game I had the wife of a fan apologise for the behavior of her husband to the Munster fans around me.
I could go on but I know I'm talky about a bunch of wasters who do nothing for their province or country but it would be one of the reasons why I stopped going to Leinster games in Dublin.
will we all be listing nonsense?
It seems to be the norm here over the last 24 hours.
Rugby crowds are not segregated for a reason. I think there's a few people here ( on both sides) who might need to thicken up their skin.
Changing the subject. U20 was a tough watch. Now 2nd from the bottom of the table , but in fairness to Wales they deserved the win
Can I tell my tall tale next?
One past occasion at Thomond I had my scarf thrown to the ground by a gentleman wearing a T-shirt that said “Tommy O’Donnell Rules, OK.” “You’re not in the Pale anymore bai” he spat, before slapping the burrata caprese salad right from my hand. It was appalling.
Didn't you already tell your tale about guys you know involved in the Leinster academy?
Hilarious
Haha, very good. Won’t clog up the thread getting into this with you of all people.
I think it was more 'Wales were handed the win'. When a better team cannot figure out how to win a game you have to look at leaders and coaches. Seems to be a developing problem in those departments.
Do you just like insulting people? Like you are insulting me there and another person in the quote I posted but you claim you know players in the academy and we all accepted it. But you can't accept that a guy met idiots on a couple of occasions.
You're not thinking that now!

Not perfect but getting close to being back in form. I'll try to get it right for the France game for my regular followers.
Beating France is a must now, I don't see us winning the 6Ns if we lose to France, PD is against us.
a win is a win. It wasn’t pretty, Wales played with belief that wasn’t anticipated. We were lucky to get the win .
enjoyable enough game, Wales played well, much improved from Gats. think if it wasn’t for the 20 minute red rule that could have been a loss.
The issue today was clearly having to wear those awful jerseys. Half joking but it could contribute just enough visual disruption to established patterns to throw timing off.
DOris has his knee in a brace which is a major concern
Very mixed bag of a team performance.
Baird had a strong 40 minutes off the bench. Some very muscular carries and big hits behind the gain line in defence. Thought Lowe and JGP had very good games also.
POM was good. Thought he faded near the end, but lasted longer than I thought he had would too.
Osborne did brilliantly to stop that Wales try in the 73rd minute.
if prendergast plays like that against the french, we will be crucified - Crowley has to start
POM did well, huge tackling stats babysitting prendergast. Baird was good when he came on, although I think Conan should be 6 and Doris 8 for the french game.
Dan was quiet, i expect him to play like 5 men against the french.
Bealham is as important as Porter now.
an away win in the 6 nations is worth its forward pack weight in gold.
yay
Crowley has to start
I’d be shocked if he does.
Once again Prendergast played 80 minutes and Crowley came on at FB.
if he does start, there's clearly no joined up thinking happening.
I'd rather a grandslam with an outhalf that is useful in defense and attack, instead of having a nice spiral kick.
this is turning into "Putin has the peepee tapes of trump" with all the ignoring of the evidence.
Weirdly I think there's alot of positives to take from that
Osbourne recovered from a blippy first half to really show his pedigree
Boyle came off the bench, on his debut, on our 5m line.....and smoked their TH
Sam wasn't perfect but showed glimpses of class that we haven't seen in quite a while.
That was a cauldron, we were down to 10 men for 20 mins, had no no.8 for the second half and still won. That'll do me
Do you have a record of all you predictions? I don't think I've ever seen you get one wrong by more than a couple of points.
Our record in Cardiff is terrible, shouldn't be overlooking the value of getting a win there. Having a tough examination will add some spice to the training. I don't expect us to be so disjointed against France.
How were we down to 10.
Wrong sport I'd say..
