I think maybe just evening drinks for first date. She has kids, as do I, so we'll need to work around that.
She may have been expecting me to ask her out, we have known each other for a while and I was interested but thought she was with someone else. We had a really nice afternoon watching the rugby on Sunday and someone confirmed that she was single so I thought now or never (at which point it took me two more days!).
That's really lovely, I bet she is delighted to be asked out, hope it all goes well for you both.
A few casual drinks is perfect, there's no pressure, no worrying about speaking with your mouth full or getting food stuck in your teeth.

Watching utv news and its all about the Omagh bombing . Its barbaric what people in the North and along the border grew up in the 70's and 80's thinking it was normal. On the flip side more unlawful murders / killings by 'security 'forces are being acknowledged.

Back from my optenistrist ? appointment which was surprisingly much better results than expected . Should have glasses and licence back in aweek or so. Also the local taxi driver was sound . I've known the family and likewise they do for years . It would be such a boost to get back on the road and able to read the books I've been hoarding . Overall feeling very positive 👍

I'm so frustrated and pissed off; I went to my GP about my addiction and filled him in about my relapse recently. I asked him what I could take over the counter for my withdrawal symptoms, and he was like nothing you can take. You have to put up with it..suck it up and get on with it, in other words!! ☹️🤬😡 also asked him about going on methadone, etc, and he didn't know. Ugh. I will be speaking to more specialist people or services from now on. Hopefully, they know their stuff and are a lot more compassionate/understanding
