Just because they dehumanize themselves doesn't mean we have to.
I just wish they'd dehumanise themselves with a bullet to their own skulls and save a lot of anguish for the poor Ukrainians. They are going to die for nothing anyway, but why inflict further suffering on their Ukrainian cousins?
Probably they've been fed fear and misinformation for a quarter of century under Putin.
There was a lot of brain washing in Ireland about locking women up just because they got pregnant. When this subject comes up I can see the total mystification on younger generations who struggle to wrap their heads around that.
Russian Orthodox church commandment…
Thou shalt always lie. For the kingdom of heaven is a stupid place and God is a stupid being and Russia is all. So when the maker is met lie and feign humbleness and godliness.
Rather defending strategic weapons with donkeys.
just pointing out the obvious, putin now and that orange buffoon in the future, won't be there for the Ukrainians.
But continue.
Sweet. 😁
Looks like the new Kursk offensive turned into similar outcome as the one last month or even worse. Now that the new fibre-optic drones are being mass produced it eliminates the electric warfare and can also be used in bad weather.
First part of the video is footage from the latest attack.
I can see how you might think that way, but I'm more interested in what is true. I do review quite a bit of information regarding the conflict, and give greater weight to information that is shown to be true. After three years of the conflict during which pro-NATO narratives (Russia will run out X in Y weeks, Russia's economy will collapse in X weeks, NATO wunderwaffen will rout the Russian rabble, the great 2023 counteroffensive will win the war, 10 thousand North Koreans in Kursk, etc, etc, etc) were shown to be incorrect, then from a pro-NATO perspective that believed these things any truthful, realistic analysis will seem objectionable. But it's still true, regardless.
At the end of the day my views are based on the evidence that even pro-NATO sources are now - through gritted teeth - reporting about how badly the Ukrainians are suffering. If the evidence changes, my views will change. I'm not sure that is true for everyone.
Yup, sure - its an interesting article that gets looks at why why a lot of Ukrainians - even those who are not sympathetic to Russia - don't identify with the state and don't believe they must defend it.

EDIT - The authors mention the conscripts being beaten and tortured in Ukrainian units. While I was already aware of this generally, I was still shocked when I saw an image from a recent case in the 211th Brigade of the Ukrainian Army. There is a photo circulating (I wont link it, but its in Ukrainian media reports about the brigade if you want to see it) of a man in military uniform proudly posing before another man (also in uniform) who has been crucified and is either dead, or unconscious. The man posing with his victim is the son of the 211th brigades chief of staff. From the Ukrainian reports, beatings, torture and demands for money from the conscripts were commonplace.
It's hardly shocking then that between casualty rates, and the brutality they suffer in their own units that so many are unwilling to fight.
Shock horror, people don't want to be drafted to fight in a war.
I'm struggling to understand what your point is supposed to be. You could find the same voxpops in the UK during WW2.
When you see what these guys are going through. Defending the civilised world from the inhuman things that are Putinists. Then you have the Putinists on here upholding their commandment to lie.
Meanwhile on the other side………
There's no interest in the truth in your posts, only in reductionist narratives whereby NATO/West are the "villains" to blame
Which is all directly in line with Putin speeches and Kremlin propaganda.
NATO wunderwaffen will rout the Russian rabble, the great 2023 counteroffensive will win the war,
People support Ukraine, and naturally hope they will succeed. They express this through hope and optimism, even if some is misplaced. It comes from a good place.
Your posts don't come from a good place, they come from a place of bitterness, relishing setbacks for Ukraine, all of which betrays your real world views. No one is going to change your mind or opinion, it's just an exercise in demonstrating that even individuals can become badly consumed by propaganda and self indoctrination.
Maybe they're reluctant because they'd like a donkey like the Russians get as standard issue.
The Germans were fed fear and disinformation about Jews and Slavs, not for a mere dozen years, but for hundreds of years, but that doesn't excuse them one whit. Everybody that cheered on their soldiers as they marched into other countries, that grinned when liberals and socialists and gay people were denounced, that shrugged as their freedoms were taken away, that attended the rallies, that turned a blind eye when their neighbours were arrested, that turned away when they saw Jewish shops trashed or burned, they all shared in the guilt. The same applies to the Ruzzians. No pity.
The Russians forcing “walking” wounded back to the front to become a meat-wave, while the AFU take care of thier troops, keep them motivatied and even turn some injured troops into literal cyborgs (I kind of love that).
This is part of why many of us support Ukraine. They appear to have considerably more humanity in thier desire to fight. They fight to protect their homes, loved ones and do what they can to look after those who do fight for them. And then we have the Russian way of doing things.
One of these approaches gives us hope for humanity…the other does not….
must be awful demoralising for friends of Russia to know they are next on chopping block to die by a robot for dear leader
When you think about it.
Kursk holds strong 6 months later😂
Russia is a mess. Sooner the better it’s put out of its misery.
Sand also cheered on the US + Allied invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. I don't think it's Russian propaganda that has him going against Ukraine. Go figure.
We have reached this point a lot faster then I expected I don't know about the rest of you. I was setting 2026 as the date when this would become common place. This is based off the analysis of when Russian armour stockpiles would dry up.
If the war was paused for 2 years Russia would be able to patch up and get working a decent amount of the dwindling stockpile but the reality is the degrading equipment takes time so we're only seeing a drip feed nowhere near enough.
Russia either scale back the number of attacks or continue using civilian vehicles and take heavier losses. My money is on option B.
Wow.
This is almost like the PlayStation/Xbox kids of the last 25+ years have been let loose.
Who said video gaming was a waste of time!
😂😂😂
I’m starting to think, hear me out, that Putin underestimated the Ukrainian resolve and capability when he decided to invade Ukraine.
Maybe he does understand and maybe the genius Putin actually meant October 2026 all along.
Russians making ground in Chasiv Yar, albeit incredibly slowly. The area they recently made advances in was completely destroyed by their own shelling, which isn't new. They had started to move through water pipes and accumulate a force of 100+ near the frontline when their movements were spotted by drone operators, who had started tracking their movements. A bunker buster was called in and killed most of them. They then decided to burn the basement full of bodies which made the city stink if burnt flesh
I assume in the very near future AI will take over the targeting on these drones….swarms of AI drones
Trying to think of what Trump peace plan might look like, Kellogg seems determined to end the war and Trump wants to be called a peacemaker
There would have to be sticks and carrots for both sides (sadly as one side is clearly in wrong to have started the war) and as the saying goes the sign of a good deal is when neither side is happy
Ukraine Sticks:
Ukraine carrots
Russia sticks
Russia carrots
Trump wild cards:
Trump is highly transactional and if he can make a few bob out of this for his crime family and wider oligarch network he will
Tell them what they want to hear-
If only my soldiers would stop dying then I'd get what I want!
How stupid are these people, a few nets are going to stop Ukraine from obliterating the orc supply lines.
More Ukrainian advances, this time in the south.
