Its a possibility for sure but if Liverpool backroom staff keep getting fit players, all in form out on the pitch I dont see them dropping 15-18 points needed to make race.

The mental part of it also could play a part. Not many Liverpool players remain from last title win so being favourites and ahead for so long will be interesting if Arsenal close the gap and there's a couple of bad results in a row. This is what happened last season, remember after 23 games last season Liverpool were 2 points ahead of Arsenal but ended up 7pts behind by the end so that's a 9pt swing from this point.
Thats true alright but the main leaders in the squad have all done it before. Oh for sure its possible as I see Arsenal are 18/5 on oddschecker but I think something needs to go wrong for Liverpool first.
Also it seems Arsenal currently have 4 fit attacking players which includes a 17 year old and Raheem Sterling!!!

No chance Liverpool are losing the title race, they have form of champs, winning games last minute etc, Arsenal will drop more points.
A lot of the mental positives from Sundays win were lost for Arsenal last night up in Newcastle. It was a poor performance all over the pitch and was a real kick in the teeth after the highs of Sunday.
The only positive was that it wasnt a league game. Given Arsenals struggles against Newcastle the last few years & them still having to come to the emirates I wouldn't be confident of that being any different a result either, Isak seems to pose a real problem for Saliba & Gabriel, one that they dont look any closer to solving either.
They've only won 1 game all season in the last minute, against Brentford a couple of weeks ago
They've also dropped 2 points against Newcastle by conceding an equaliser in the last minute when 3-2 up
You do know the 2nd derby game with Everton is a mid week round for every team its not like Liverpool have to squeeze it in.

Sorry I probably should have said late winners, not neccesarily 90+ minutes, pretty sure there has been a few in games where they haven't played well.
Yeah for sure, though it does seem that there's less late winners this season than under Klopp but I haven't looked into it just seems that way.
Looking at results there's not many outstanding scorelines on paper like Arsenal just had. 6-3 at Spurs and 3-0 at Old Trafford the best
Single goal wins against Southampton, Brighton, Palace, Wolves, Chelsea. Draws against Fulham, Forest, United, Arsenal, Newcastle. That's 10 games that could have easily been less points than we got in them.

Fulham game will likely have to move too, it's currently 3pm on the day of the Grand National (tv channels haven't selected April games yet and it's one they otherwise likely wouldn't have selected, United play City that weekend)

I dont think we have too many but Liverpool certainly have tended to wrap a lot of games up before the late stages for sure
I think we'd just be talking about him getting to know players and players getting to know his system in Nov if we appointed him this summer instead. It was the right call to bring him in now. This isn't a short-term issue nor is it a short-term fix. We will hopefully be better off in the early stages of next season because Amorim has had the time with the squad already to figure out the problem players / players with poor attitude etc.. Instead of Amorim starting next season now with Rashford moping around the place on 350k a week and Ruben giving him his chance to impress him we can move past all that. Trim the squad better in the summer and have 6 months working with Amorim to identify summer targets. That's the hope anyway

Sky can show all remaining Liverpool games for the remainder of the season from the next selection picks, It could be moved for the Grand National without the need for TV. Currently Villa will move to 2 weeks time if Liverpool win tonight and the if either Liverpool or Spurs get to the semi-final of the FA Cup that game in April will need a new date
Yeah sorry I missed that it's an away game anyway so Grand National wouldn't affect it!
It's Everton's home game v Arsenal that will move because of Aintree and you'd imagine Sky would be happy enough to show that one on Sunday before the Manchester derby or maybe Monday night

That's the return fixture, at Anfield. The one that's being squeezed in is the game at Goodison which was meant to take place weeks ago, and is now stuck into next mid-week.
Which is the 1st derby, the others were also saying the 2nd derby was to be squeezed into a midweek when i pointed out it was a full mid week schedule for everyone
guessing its maybe just a communication mixup…? either meaning 2nd as in the first was cancelled because of the weather, or 2nd as in the April one was already scheduled long ago, and this additional Goodison one has been needed to be squeezed in too. Either way, broad point remains that there's a bunch of games stacked together which is probably where one would point towards Liverpool potentially dropping points here or there… especially if they progress in the two cups over the next two games, potentially adding two further fixtures into the next 6 weeks.
Martinelli out for a month now. Jesus, Saka, Martinelli, they aren’t having much luck in the forward line since Christmas.
If it means they are forced to start Nwaneri ahead of Martinelli it’s good luck imo
It's bad luck alright for Arsenal alright. Especially when Arsenal are lower on numbers in terms of forwards at the club anyways.
I listened to a podcast recently with a sport scientist that was talking about using AI to predict and prevent injuries etc. It was an interesting discussion and used alot of Newcastle examples such as one of their players reinjuring himself after coming back from a matatarsel injury by training too much himself away from the club that they were unaware of. He was trying to get fit himself and didn't realise he was being counterproductive. As a result, every single bit of Newcastle players training is tracked and monitored, including sleep. All external fitness work, even jogging, has to be logged so that their official team training workload is managed. Another example was Tyrone Mings ACL injury basically being because he trained too much in a short period of time before his non-contact injury.
One very interesting aspect of the conversation was the workload amount over a full season for players. Arsenal had a largely excellent record for the last 2 years with injuries. Players like White Gabriel Saliba Rice Odegaard Saka Havertz Martinelli etc basically were fit for every single game, and as a result, they played all of the minutes for 2 full seasons. Their bodies then happened to break down this year as they can't do it for 3 full seasons. The workload caught up with them.
It's happening Man City this year too. Rodri broke down, all their defenders have been injured at some point and John Stones had the choice of surgery and being out for the season or severely limiting his minutes and availablity, and chose the latter. He'll need that surgery eventually though.
They should have bought a forward over the past couple of years, so I've no real pity. Zero depth there.
Everyone knows Arsenal's problem, Arteta just doesn't seem to want to fix it for some absurd reason.
Might force the issue now though, it's an ill wind....
