No, not for me, its time to push the change to bluesky (if we want).
But nothing stopping you from setting up an Bsky account, and keeping Musk's-X account too ,if you really want to,
You can post from X, if you want (I cannot view X fully anymore, but that's my choice), and we can post fro Bsky
The BBC were running with a story this morning.
They were saying the Russians are contacting the families of captured Ukranian troops and trying to coerce them into sabotaging Ukranian infrastructure or giving over info into their army's whereabouts.
They promise an early release for their loved ones…or torture.
There's a certain low that you shouldn't go…and then there's a Russian Low.
These blue sky accounts still post on twitter so it's better to embed that version if you want your information to get a greater reach. Anyone having a problem with twitter just follow Pro Ukraine channels and block the vatniks.
More falling debris…..😁
pedo ?
All because a pedophile dwarf hiding in the Kremlin bunker lost the run of his ego.
I wouldn't calling it a potentially regime ending showdown but live in hope.
This reply is worth posting on its own 😁
Rasta Tank will soon be smoking.
Probably testing disconnecting the country from internet… or trying to hide some bad news
Looks like someone cut the wrong cable!!
Hilarious; patience will be rewarded.
The cope cages are getting quite elaborate
No.
There’s a thread here somewhere requesting expand for bluesky links, I guess eventually that technical problem is resolved, seems to expand most of them if third option is chosen on link modal
I stopped using Twitter or whatever it’s called now because it’s gone off the far right conspiracy theories deep end run by a crazy drug addict who just wants to see the world burn, possibly paid by Russian dirty money too
Reddit and bluesky seem more centered / balanced
Anyways all of that is going on tangent

Lads can you post twitter links instead of blue sky please. On Android one has over a billion downloads while the other over 5 million. Most importantly twitter embeds here the other doesn't.

Should we also stop posting links to other websites?
They fired a load of missiles on run up to and over Christmas. Maybe restocking now?
I suspect there could be some large attacks launched on Ukrainian cities again to show how mighty they are when Trump begins trying to make a deal with Putin, after he assumes power (so end of this month/early to mid Feb?).
Maybe Russia will fire another "Oreshnik" to get Joe Rogan and the dumb as a rock pro Russia right wing "bros" in the US burbling about WW3 and armageddon again!
Outstanding - more like him please.
They don't care if the rear is being destroyed once the front line is moving forward. Russian logic.
Well I guess that’s that so
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-01-14/europe-grows-more-optimistic-trump-won-t-abandon-ukraine?srnd=homepage-europe
Ukraine’s European allies have become cautiously optimistic that US President-elect Donald Trumpwon’t force Kyiv into premature negotiations with Russia.
The recognition follows a series of private talks with members of Trump’s team, in which the transatlantic partners have made the case for continued support for Ukraine, according to European officials familiar with the matter who declined to be identified

This is something often discussed on the Ukraine the Latest podcast
Well despite Putin's claims. one off oreshniks aren't capable of much in the way of damage above normal missiles. and he doesn't have enough nor capable to produce enough in any meaningful time frame to launch enough for them to actually be some sort of deterrent
wasn't it a backfill to allow Poland send stuff to Ukraine and while they waited on ordered Patriots?
They're having a right good look there today!
Mighty Romania gave a Patriot system to Ukraine and the reward is they will be getting a replacement that is the latest and best itteration which has 360° coverage instead of the 90/180 the donated one had.
The US had Patriot batteries there since 2022

Seems Germany will replace them
That raises questions as to why and where are those existing ones being redeployed to
I would imagine, but don't know. One of the most truly inexplicable and bizarre things of the whole conflict is the UK sent their extremely capable Sky Sabre to Poland a couple of years ago, instead of Ukraine, where it could have saved many lives instead of doing SFA in Poland.
Most of the Orc AA missile systems are likely in Crimea or near the line of contact to deny Ukrainian planes and a few critical sites like airbases. The interior of the country is relatively unprotected it would seem. Ukraine has destroyed a lot of AA systems - two more S-300s just a few days ago.
and would Poland not have their own patriot protection for key Polish sites ?
Germany will deploy Patriot near Ukrainian border this month, - Pistorius German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that his country will deploy Patriot air defense systems in Rzeszow, Poland, near the Ukrainian border, in January. "We know very well how important Rzeszow is as a logistics hub, as a logistics node, when it comes to helping Ukraine," he noted.
Seems like an odd thing to do unless you had specific intelligency that someone was about to test some red lines.
Curiouser and curiouser. Another day (night) of massive drone and missile strikes by Ukraine on Russian targets in Russia, and not a single missile fired by the Kremlin in return. After all the "red lines" rhetoric and "you'll pay for that" tough talk of last month, not to mention Putin banging on about his mighty Oreshnik at every opportunity, it's all gone quiet.
What's the story? Is is simply "too much confusion" in Russian airspace that makes it impossible to safely launch any air-to-ground missiles? Did those Ukrainian strikes cut an essential part of the supply chain (seem like at least some of last night's strikes had that objective)? Or are the Russians biding their time and preparing for another assault on whatever hospitals and kindergartens haven't already been hit?
And is anyone placing bets on whether or not Putin will re-take occupied Kursk by the 20th January? :D
