As suggested in other thread, starting new thread, to continue discussion, and reduce the issue of 'Vanilla Tremble' (…another great new Boards feature!!!).
After event, will merge threads.

Great pictures everyone. Keep them coming.
I feel the same way, can't wait to see the back of this miserable weather. Everywhere is waterlogged and the rain just keeps falling. Of course when this clears and it becomes cold enough for snow there won't be a cloud for days until the mild weather comes back.
That's right, didn't freeze at all after Emma. I am actually dreading the next few days to be honest
Windy.com with most of the models it uses aren’t forecasting the wind to shift from on shore to the North till 9-10pm tonight. I imagine most of the precipitation will be over Wales by then, so I am not expecting anything in Bray now.
Finally snowing in West Wicklow.
Still snowing here near Tralee, should be pulling away soon, sky is getting a bit brighter. Eyes watching then for showers and troughs coming in from the N, NW, W, some of the shower trains making there way well inland, the 528dam line becomes well established down over Ireland by tomorrow introducing the coldest temps of the current spell for most especially over snowfields. Looks like it could remain above freezing tonight along Atlantic coastal counties and other coastal areas due to the wind circulating the air off the sea, 0.8C at the moment near Tralee. Looks like getting quite sharp/severe low temps Tues through to Thurs with ice days possible in places and at best just climbing a few degrees for many away from coasts.
No, just outside New Ross on south side.
Great photo. Seeing all these fantastic photos lessens the blow somewhat. We will have our turn at some stage.
I honestly wasn't expecting this much snow near Mallow. This isn't far off what we got from Emma at this stage with more to come.
I had a look on Nullschool and it looks like it's already shifted? Still 2c here in Naas. My brother is reporting snow in Blessington close to the town.
Could be the start of a memorable winter for all Nacho.
Back out the back to take more snow off the roof before it pulls down more gutters! 🙂
Cork Airport reporting just 600 metres visibility in Snow and Fog
Shannon and Kerry still reporting Snow at 2pm
I would love to be happy for everyone enjoying the snow, but I can’t I’m so bitter sitting here looking out at the lashing rain 😂
Snowing in Kilcock, pretty heavy and starting to stick.
and just like that in the space of 60 seconds the cold rain has transitioned to wet snow
Main road from hacketstown to carlow. Snow plough at work, still getting covered and sticking
Rain starting to turn sleety here in north Dublin.
Picked up some bread this morning from our local shop as we were down to two slices, I feel terrible now, might bring it back.
Just rain for us East of Midleton unfortunately, got quite dark in the last few minutes, temp at 2.0. Actually rain turning to sleet now.
Right, sleet / snow has started in East Cork near the coast :D
temps rising? Thought they where to get much lower as the day went on.
Carlow & still snowing
Snowing heavily now!
Snow falling steadily for the last 30 mins or so here in Cork (Rochestown area) and starting to stick 😀.
We could well see Status Yellow Alerts issued for Snow introduced for Donegal, Connacht and west Munster from tomorrow through Tuesday due to heavy wintry showers pushing down from the north.
well nothing but wet messy shletty shrainry shnowish drops here all afternoon! Delighted and hugely jealous of all who got snow, ENJOY!
coming down in east cork the last half hour or so. Supposed to go on until about 8 so there should be high accumulations by then
