We are at the Wunderwaffen stage folks
Rumours inbound, unlike that weapon
Russia seems determined to escalate things.
Kremlin gremlin hasn't been seen in nearly 2 weeks.
Even Fair City actors would be mortified by that performance.
Disappointed with kill ratio in all honesty.
Good job they don't need dollars to buy oil, gas, metals and things.
As it stands, the government cannot protect its own citizens which I believe is against the basics of the constitution.
That is extremely relative. What is the magic number?
Do we start buying in ballistic missiles, advanced air defences?
What exactly are you getting at here?
Summary of last week
Funny how long the collapse of the $ has been on their minds.
We still have the useful idiots doing it today.
Cyber defence is obviously an area for improvement that doesn’t offer much in terms of physical defence especially if data cables can be cut easily and without much hindrance
Maybe personnel wasn't the target, but the command post itself.
It’s a clear example of Sinn Fein being so clueless that they don’t see the hypocrisy in their domestic stance (and core reason for existence) on unifying Ireland and ending our colonial divisions compared to their foreign stance which wants to reward the last empire in Europe with new colonies and split up (or destroy) an independent and sovereign state who was invaded
If I was FF/FG I would run with this big time. It's nowhere near being a popular position in Ireland and will absolutely disgust some swing voters.
Doesn't seem like a great return from 10 missiles. Far better off hitting munitions, fuel depots or massed troops. Taking out 20 mainly useless commanders doesn't really change anything.
Odd performance.
Almost like it's staged.
Result of yesterdays Storm shadow strike.
I don't doubt Iran and Korea have sold weapons to Russia in the past, doubtful now since they have ramped everything up. EU said there is no proof of direct drones made by China so it's just speculation. Maybe after today sanctions on weapons will be forced onto another country also that is openly committing attrocities, maybe they will be cut off the dollar banking system and trade agreements ended also instead of just turning a blind eye.
Regards to weapons i
Love how you skip the Iran and NK stuff and leap on China where there's a tiny bit of room for debate.
It's well established that China is a major parts supplier for Russian weapons and now it seems directly involved in weapons production too:
In Lithuania, they have 2 independence days… both celebrating independence from Russia on 2 separate occasions.
I'm sure there are other countries with more than 1 independence day from Russia….
None of them wish for a 3rd.
Poland and the Baltics were saying it for years and Western Europe didn't listen….. Western Europe simply doesn't have the experience of being under Russia's boot (East Germany aside), so were never really afraid of it, but the ex Soviet states know all too well…
We are most definitely in a new world war
think that neutrality saves us. To a degree it probably does
I don't think it's up for debate TBH.
The idea that we bump up defence numbers when WW3 the only likely war we get dragged into which will be largely unconventional won't save us either.
That said we should certainly be investing on what we can actually make a difference and contribution in, cyber defence.
Interesting quote. Not sure we are quite there yet. It's definitely a much bigger conflict that 2022 with more players but I do not think this is currently the early days of WW3. More like the Spanish Civil War.
There are doubts it was an ICBM
No idea, but France is taking it seriously
Please study the picture below and read some books
imagine being cold AND occupied by raping terrorists, that have no regard for Ukrainian civilian life.
Cold is bad, cold and occupied by Russian degenerates is far, far worse.
Switzerland getting involved again ❤️
Maybe not limited but conscription in general might be a good place to start.
Let the people gain experience, get familiar with how things work.
The government ends up bumping up their numbers and we finally start seeing some sort of progress.
The other issue in Ireland is the mentality towards anything defence related.
We aren’t in NATO because of moronic ideologies from the past which are no longer relevant but people seem to think that neutrality saves us. To a degree it probably does, but you can neutral and actually have defensive capabilities
Zelensky has said that Crimea can only be taken back through diplomacy which takes Crimea effectively off the table militarily.

Ukraine needs to have a realistic concensus of what a "victory" now looks like and how the leadership sells it as that.
Ukraine don't really need pontification on reality TBF. They are in the thick of it.
Either way, you are asking the wrong question. Europe and America need to have a "realistic consensus" on what a Putin "victory" looks like. As does China.
Do we revisit this "realistic consensus" when he tries for Kyiv again or Moldova or another Baltic state.
Is kicking the can down the road the wisest move considering Russia will never be this weak again?
With the hyper sense of nationalism that existential threats bring, will Ukraine remain united or could a civil war break out, sides will have to be picked in that.
At this moment in time it is Ukraine and Ukraine only that is preventing Soviet Expansion going further, that is the reality people need to remember when they are safely typing on the internet that Ukraine just needs to suck it up.
