I don’t think so, I think it’s done to as a way of making a fool out of Putin because it makes everyone appear like responsible adults while Putin constantly has to draw red lines and contradict himself and go back, it also exposes his lies
We are a stage where whatever Russians say everyone just laughs at them because they are clowns and not serious people
And it constantly reminds Putin that he only has two options, back down or escalate, except Putin can’t escalate any more as we are now at point where any escalation could end in disaster for Putin and Russia
Yeah. After shock at the motherland being hit by evil US missiles, scurrying back to the comfort of Ukrainian territory losses I see.
We see you :)
Of course. Using Iranian missiles and North Korean troops and targeting civilian infrastructure in Ukraine is somehow to be expected, but Ukraine striking back against military targets within Russia is a "dangerous escalation". Absolutely pathetic
How do I know what? Please be precise on your understandings as I think we might have a moment of enlightenment for you.
Back to the battle field. Looks like those rumors about Chasiv Yar a couple of days ago were indeed correct.
we are already at war . Hybrid war. Russia is flat out attacking our democracies and information sphere. And it is insidious and deadly serious as we can see the devastating results in the US and UK voting in ridiculous politicians . A physical conventional war between NATO and Russia would actually be much more straightforward as it would remove any shadow of a doubt even to the most feeble minded of the intentions of Putin.
I think they do it to appease Putin. It allows him to move valuable assets like fighter jets and helis out of harms way. The US can say we done you a favour so don't react.
But judging by these deep sea cables that might be the reaction.
Indeed, they've been quiet a few times already, only letting it be known afterwards.
This time, with this issue, I suspect they announced it beforehand so that they could get ahead of Putin's narrative.
In 2014 they (NATO, the West) were behind Russia in regards to the chess game, with Putin running rings around them. Since then they seem to have improved a lot.
As a heads-up - if Putin does respond in any way to these strikes with foreign missiles, the usual crowd will attempt to blame anyone but Putin.
I just wish the West wouldn't constantly announce these steps in advance. Just give the green light quietly and maintain the element of surprise. Why does everything have to be broadcast in advance, leading to the inevitable tedious nuclear war/escalation rhetoric that every bloody news site is broadcasting as if it hasn't been heard 100 times before?
Next we'll see the vatniks get an updated script, and move from "Allowing missiles to be used against targets in Russia is a red line" to "ATACMS are ineffective and will not affect the special military operation in any way". Just wait.
yes, but she's a typical small-elephant-sized vatnik woman. It may be only 2 storey building but heavy weight and gravity will do the trick.
Interesting times for sure. I just can't get my head around why Ukraine wasn't allowed do this at least a year ago and why it's been telegraphed by the US. As dumb as Russia are they will have moved the high value targets well out of range by now which makes it bizarre.
That visegrad isn’t a legitimate source. Up there with RT with the shite they spout.
This is the link to the Ship in question.
Looks like it is being escorted through Danish waters.

According to internet folks it's about to be intercepted
Norwegian mass murder and Neo Nazi carves a Russian Zwastika on his head
Are these really long range missiles , or just short range tactical missiles.
A long range missiles should go at least 1000- 2000 miles.
…..
What can Russia do, spell it out, otherwise your post is nothing but vague fluffy load of nonsense
There is no escalation path which doesn’t result in Putin and Russia getting hosed in return
He has finally backed himself into a corner
Looks like we know who cut the undersea cables
It's a case of wait and see if Russia fires a warning shot on some part of UK now that the UK and Usa are guiding these long range missiles to their targets , Ukraine may pull the trigger, but it's the US and UK manning those missiles
I suppose they could bring out the big conventional weapons like the Avangard.
Ultimately the fear is that he could "launch nukes". I get that fear, and there has been chatter that he was allegedly close to using battlefield nukes at one stage (pinch of salt) however as others have mentioned, the key problem is China. Threatening nukes affects them and they don't want it. This was very clear from the sudden drop in that nuclear threat rhetoric from Russia after key meetings with China.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the Russian equivalent of the Defcon alert to be raised, plus various other nuclear sabre-rattling.
There are also plenty of other nasty things Putin can do, however he's already doing most of them to some extent anyway. It's just a continuation.
My chief worry was an "accident" at the Zaporizhia plant, however Ukrainians are in range of the Kursk plant - so Russia may be cautious with those games.
You can be guaranteed that the US had a conversation with China over the permission to use LR weapons at Russia this week in Peru. In the unlikely event of a nuclear war, both Russian and US missiles would target China. Any nuclear strike by Russia will isolate them from China as much as the rest of the world. Russia will respond to this by likely arming enemies of the US rather than hitting NATO directly.
Start WW3 in time for Trump presidency
Okay but what large response from Moscow?
Nuclear sabre rattling? Already done
Hybrid warfare on Europe? Already happening
Energy war? Already happened
Blowing the crap out of Ukraine? Already happening
Foreign armies and support? Already happened
There's no "bravado". Russia is invading Ukraine and attacking Europe. We are simply responding to that. A fairly weak response in proportion.
How do you know that Astro ?
Well one things for certain now Putin has backed himself into a corner with his rhetoric. He may not care about losing face anymore as he's ignored so so many red lines already but who knows what his response will be in all honesty. Besides nukes what can he really do besides cut a few undersea cables.
Your AI generated article from a questionable publication rests on this paragraph
“Under the circumstances, a US/NATO weapon that navigates through sovereign Russian airspace, using guidance signals beamed by US military satellites, to strike a target in sovereign Russian territory could be deemed as an act of war against Russia by the US/NATO.”
Let me point out that Russian missiles and drones using Russian satellite signals repeatedly not only traverse but strike NATO territory as happened in Romania and Poland, so if NATO takes the same stance as Russia you better bend around and kiss your rear goodbye
