I think at the moment they only have two Agricultural machinery manufacturers (Zoomlion and YTO). I know it's a bit of broad statement but historically, Chinese designs have always copied Western designs
The problem they face is that Western heavy agricultural machinery is (in many cases) not suitable for the type of terrain that the arable land in China is located on. That being said, I think they imported well over a $1B of agricultural equipment in 2023.
That's completely different than NATO though. France can (if invited) station French troops in Ukraine. But that would not be NATO troops.
Still can't see America attacking NK troops unless they (the US) is asked by either NATO members or South Korea and that would be within a NATO country or South Korea.
South Korea was mulling about dropping their neutral stance wrt weapons for Ukraine when NK started supplying Russia with missiles and shells. I wonder if things will change now with NK troops entering the battle.
Got a link to their export and import stats for agri machinery?
only a .gov link from 2021 that states year on year import of argi machinary is up 14%

I'd agree mostly, but I can't see them entering the battle as combat forces though.
I'm guessing they're there for logistics, although in saying that, 12,000 is a lot right?
More sanctions on Russia, more weapons, more promises etc…. That's all Ukraine will get.
What I would be worried about is what does North Korea get in return for all this. I would think that America would like Ukraine to get a few prisoners out of this as I say they would love to get to interrogate them.
Let's put it this way it's 12k troops extra that Ukraine have to worry about and who knows maybe in a few mths time it could be 100k or 200k north Korean troops deployed in Russian uniforms to Ukraine. Its not great at all to be fair at all for Ukraine as who knows where this line will be drawn and how many could eventually be deployed to Ukraine. It gives North Korea real world combat experience which I am sure they would like as well.
South Korea confirming it too
What does North Korea get? Most likely, food, money, nuclear weapons.
Definitely Food, I say gas/oil. Money I say but probably not as much of that as I am sure Russia wants to keep that. I say a lot of help with regards nucleartechnology and rockets etc. It will probably bring north Korea up leaps and bounds in certain things with help from Russia.
What the f**k is wrong with Russians?

I'm picturing cavalry men putting flippers on the horses feet , and mark 2 equine snorkels ,
It all went down fast when someone mounted a bushmaster on the saddle , and a shoe tensioning device ..
So if Europe or a couple of European powers took a much tougher stance , say UK ,France and Poland , for eg , and declared intention to help defend Ukraine, not attack ,defend , and for eg put troops into a city+ region like lviv, Odessa and if really brave kharkiv or Kyiv itself , so air-defences and the military to protect that ,
And if brave enough declare the intention to protect the skys over Ukraine, from missiles and glide bombs , the Russians can only bomb the front line in Ukraine because they totally put match the Ukrainian air force , if the Russians need to pull back another 50 odd km from the front then the bombings stop , Rafales and eurofighters plus AWACS and refueling could push the russian air force right back , probably without firing a shot ,
If Russia fires directly into Europe it's article 5 time , so NATO is the shield for any air defence and defence of the air in Ukraine, the expeditionary powers have a strict no firing into Russia proper - except in direct reaction to missiles fired from Russia ,
And it frees up 10s of thousands of troops that Ukraine must keep to defend their rear areas , as well as allowing Ukraine to move more of their own air defence closer to the front
As well as helping protect Ukrainian military rear and industry -
It would be a serious escalation, but one with many more rungs above it ..
A symbol that gets way too much attention for its PR value. Better concentrate on taking out ammunition, makes a much bigger difference
No one is slightly worried that the outcome of a war on mainland Europe that possibly involves North Korea is being pinned on the outcome of the US election.
If Russia has to turn to North Korea in the first place then they don’t have much to offer. NK has been sabre rattling along the South Korean border recently. They are a bit like Russia Jr, in that they’re holding the threat of a nuclear strike over everyone’s head.
Maybe that's what Putin wants is North Korea to be his proxy threat to the world. Belarus and Lukashenko didn't take the bait to be the european and world threat with Russian nukes. So he'll use Kim instead. Which Kim says thank you please. Whatever you say I'll do. Three bags full's worth.
Putin still thinks of himself as european royality not Gadaffi. But he needs a Gadaffi to frighten the world and threaten or use his nukes and be the bullseye target.
To me it seems that Russia, NK and Iran are in a similar position. They have the ability to inflict serious damages/casualties in a first strike, but then they face being levelled. The West, aside from maybe Israel toward Iran, are putting up with them to avoid this.
It is worrying but who else is going to solve it, Europe? Hardly...
I do wonder whether some of these NK soldiers will seize their chance to flee and seek refuge in Ukraine?
I'd imagine all of them have families back in NK to ensure that doesn't happen.
Even just filling a gap frees up thousands of the red army to fight in Ukraine
Not 100% sure as only saw it mentioned a few times but might be true.
The ones sent to the front line will be the ones with family members back home not single men. They'll be fighting to the death.
North Koreans will soon be invading Europe!!
All chaps. Most don't look 18 years of age. Skinny as hell with loose fitting clothes.
Shocking how Russians are supporting Putin in doing this.
A smirking putin feeling confident of victory.
Selensky going around Europe rallying for his 'victory plan'. Which seems to consist of mostly demanding immediate NATO membership and direct involvement of NATO troops.
Whereas the US dont seem so keen on that. They'd rather have Ukraine lower conscription age from 25 to 18, send the kids in. A sacrifice the US are willing to make one might say.
The game must be nearly up.
If you read the previous post, you'll know what the alternative is. Ukraine will cease to exist. That's what all those people saying there should be a compromise actually mean.
What "game" exactly? The game of trying to continue their existence? The game of avoiding genocide?
