What does russia have on these people??
They are totally infiltrated by the enemy.
Shocking really.
Aren't Chechens mainly Islamic? They could recruit ISIS.
Russia have being working on the USA for 80 years.
Seems they have nearly won the battle…
These clowns like Johnston have no idea.
Maybe something. Most probably nothing. I think it's pretty obvious that the American Republicans defend America; more specifically the Confederate States of America. You may know them as 'rich people' or 'land owners'. AKA the oligarchs. And these people will say & do whatever it takes to get in power and more to the point stay in power. That's why they have such a strong affinity with all autocrats.
Another way of looking at it is American politicians require private funding to get elected. Putin copped that US politicians could be bought. Money goes through bogus companies set up by the Kremlin. Trump, Musk, etc are on the same wavelength as Putin and would like to mirror the absolute power of Putin in the United States. Trump would of course be subordinate to Putin but just outwardly try to fool's fool people that he's not. There should have been enough evidence of Russian collusion with Trump that he not even go for re election. But America is weird these days. Narrative is trying to be spun that it doesn't matter that the Kremlin is in charge of the US. That it should even be welcomed by Republicans.
This interview with US ambassador who discussed the talks with Russia before war is a must listen
Tl.dr: Russians knew they wanted war and deliberately wasted time not willing to reach any diplomatic agreements
Anytime anyone mentions Russia and negotiations they should be made listen the above interview (second half of pod)
or his deadline(s) flying past
Telegraph reporting 50,000 troops transferred to Kursk now, so much for all the posts from same armchair generals proclaiming with 100% certainty that Russians won’t move anyone
Unrelated, the recent spectacular explosion of their newest liquid fuel powered icbm missile which is meant to replace their old missiles from 80s that are well past their end of life by now, is mess (spate of scientists being jailed too beside explosions seen from space) because the company with all the expertise from USSR days is … in Ukraine
Think there was a post recently in this thread that Ukraine should just accept Russia on their soil and go back to the days of building tech that goes east like the good ole days.
Seems the only way Russia builds tech now is importing African women with the lure of a Russian boyfriend. (Roughly means prostitution if you don't build those Shadeds.)
One way or the other the kursk offensive was always going to stretch russian resources- and Ukrainian too.. if it took reinforcements and ammunition that would otherwise have gone to Donbass ,then it achieved its purpose, I suppose the other side of that equation is would the 10 or 15 thousand Ukrainian troops that are now engaged in kursk be better suited to defence in Donbass .we'll only really know in the future
In an unlimited resources and reserves situation the Ukrainians could have punched through in kursk -headed south, isolating belegerod, relieving kharkiv , and kept punching south cutting off russian logistics to Luhansk and Donetsk , eventually encircling most of the russian forces ,
but that would take huge logistics, resources and follow up forces to secure that huge thunder run ,
And if Ukraine had those sort of resources they wouldn't be in the situation they're in the first place ,
How does Transnistria survive, similar size to Tipperary, but more stretched out? There are Russian troops there, but how are these supported/relieved given it’s surrounded by Romania and Ukraine. Neither of which are conducive to Russia.
Surprisingly the majority of people in Transnistria are made up of Moldovans and Ukrainians. Russians make up approx 29% of the population.
There is a big hole in analysis of Kursk which might be a function of us being so distant from situation on ground and only getting headlines
The constant discussion of X thousand on one side vs Y thousand on other side
misses and ignores the angles in warfare such as morale and manuver and initiative (something Russians are incapable and constantly downplay), it’s one thing when you have X and Y on slow moving front where Russians have to waste men and equipment in suicidal attacks to gain 2.5 square meters per man
it’s another when Ukrainians capture at barely any cost an area the larger than Russian managed in a year and half in Russia (unthinkable only few months ago) and still holding it and expanding despite Putin proclaiming it be freed by October 1st
Utterly discredits claims that were being made on this thread recently, claims that were without foundation at the time, that the war was due to lack of communications efforts from the Biden adminisitration.
it’s not the only talking point that got dismantled this week
On this pod (around middle)
the discussion came around to Ukrainians handing over their nukes for now worthless guarantees
An interesting point was raised that while yes the strategic missiles in silos had controlled from Moscow the 2000 or so tactical grade nukes were not, and this could have prevented this war
Russia looses another SU-34. Nice.
depends how many lives its costing, it didnt reach the Kursk NPP which was probably one of their goals , now that winter is coming the ground is probably becoming less advantageous , cover logistics etc. not to mention its off the news so very little PR value
You are now inventing goals? While ignoring Putin’s multiple goals and dates he set down in his orders publicly?
Rumours abound that it was an F16 that shot it down.
It is a well known fact that julian ropcke is a pro-russian vatnik.
Only ukr army knows what was the goal of kursk offensive.
Try harder next time
Speculation only for now, but apparently a Ukrainian F16 may have just shot down a Russian SU-34

Hopefully the first of many ,
The Russians are flying hundreds of these glide bomb attacks I assume on at least some of the runs they're vulnerable to ambush
and having to fly from much further inside Russia due to recent explosive situations means they're clocking up more hours on their airframes,
This is rather spectacular!!
The russian appetite for cheap disposable meat continues!
Well there will be no protests back in north Korea if the soldiers get killed or injured that is for sure .
I do wonder what these 7k of troops are like? I mean are these elite troops or the likes? Or would they just be lower quality troops?
Think Putin will take any bodies he can get from anywhere to keep things going .The idea that he would have to recruit the better off from Moscow etc and if he did ,that might cause him more difficulties looks like wishful thinking at this point .
Wonder will the bot farms have restricted access too!😂

Russia is running out of men. Almost 700,000 killed. We've all seen the videos of the snatch squads bundling men into vans to be sent to the front.
Trying to understand what one side wants to accomplish, it stands on its own. There are logical decisions and then are ones that undermine goals.
I dont know what vatnik means but he is a pro Ukranian journalist but maybe he is just telling the truth from his perspective.
You're funny, i just spilled my coffee laughing
